ALTERED CARBON (Netflix) - Chris Conner and Ato Essandoh have both been cast in the upcoming original as "Poe, a centuries-old, highly evolved Artificial Intelligence who currently is inhabiting the psyche of Edgar Allan Poe"; and Vernon Elliot, "an ex-Protectorate Tactical Marine whose wife was imprisoned and whose daughter was killed," respectively. BIG OF ME (NBC, New!) - Lauren Iungerich ("Awkward") has sold a potential comedy to the Peacock about "two women from different walks of life who start an unlikely friendship after their mutual husband dies." Will Packer Productions' Will Packer and UnbeliEVAble Entertainment's Eva Longoria and Ben Spector also serve as executive producers for Universal Television with the former's Korin D. Huggins co-executive producing. (Deadline.com)
GODLESS (Netflix) - The six-episode series has locked in the remainder of its principal cast: Scoot McNairy is confirmed as Bill McNue, "the aging sheriff of La Belle"; with Sam Waterston as Marshal John Cook, "the law in Santa Fe and on the hunt for Griffin"; Kim Coates as Ed Logan, "an arrogant and abrasive company man who comes into La Belle"; Audrey Moore as Sarah Doyle, "a randy woman in her thirties dying for a man's company"; Christiane Seidel as Martha, "a mysterious German woman who raises some suspicion"; Randy Oglesby as Asa Leopold, "one of the only surviving men and runs the dry goods store"; Justin Welborn as Floyd Wilson, "the skillful tracker in Griffin's gang of outlaws"; and Christopher Fitzgerald as J.J. Valentine, "the smooth talking president of the Quicksilver Mining Company looking to take over the mine in La Belle." (Deadline.com)

PITCH (FOX) - Josh Peck, Parker Croft, Christian Ochoa and Kelly Jenrette will all drop by the newcomer. Peck will appear as a "neo-geeky analyst named Ross O'Malley. A member of Oscar's (Mark Consuelos) team, Ross is mistakenly called upon to handle a major crisis." Ochoa then is set as Jordan, "one of Ginny's former high school teammates"; with Ochoa as Livan Duarte, "a superstar catcher who recently defected from Cuba"; and Jenrette as Rhonda, "Oscar's loyal assistant." SUPERIOR DONUTS (CBS) - Katey Sagal ("The Bastard Executioner") has signed onto the revamped comedy pilot. She's set as Randy, "a practical street cop for whom Superior Donuts is part of her beat. She's been on the force a long time and nothing fazes her." Megyn Price played said role in the original pilot. Sagal is still in first position on fellow Eye comedy pilot "Furst Born," which is likewise being considered for midseason. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ANNIE WEISMAN PROJECT (CBS, New!) - Annie Weisman ("The Path") has sold a new drama to the Eye about "two sisters on opposite sides of the political spectrum who come together to save their father's law firm when scandal puts him behind bars." Universal Television-based True Jack Productions is behind the hour, which has a penalty attached, with the company's Jason Katims and Michelle Lee also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED CASHMAN & SILPA PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Jim Cashman and Mitch Silpa are set to team for a new single-camera comedy about "an unconventional family that is formed when a successful type-A man and his estranged sister, plus her two children, find themselves not only back in one another's lives but also living under one roof." Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone also serve as executive producers for Warner Bros. Television. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED JENNA BANS PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Jenna Bans ("The Family") has scored a put pilot commitment from the Peacock for a new drama about "three good-girl mothers and wives from the suburbs of Detroit as they descend together into a life of crime." Universal Television is producing. (Deadline.com)
WHITE RABBIT PROJECT (Netflix, New!) - "MythBusters" alums Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara are set to topline a new unscripted series for the streaming service in which "the three head down the rabbit hole to investigate weird and wonderful events from pop culture, science and history. Under their microscope are topics as diverse as jailbreaks, superpower technology, heists and crazy world war two weapons." Beyond Productions' John Luscombe, Ryan Senter and Martyn Ives will serve as executive producers on the series, which drops December 9. (Deadline.com)
WILL (TNT) - British actor Max Bennett has joined the cast of the upcoming drama as Robert Southwell, "Will's cousin and the most wanted man in England. Father Robert Southwell's words are more dangerous than the Spanish Armada. A messianic, charismatic leader bent on fomenting Catholic rebellion, Southwell tries to draw Will into his heady world of espionage and religious fundamentalism. Tied by bonds of duty, family and faith, Will struggles to reconcile his relationship with this seductively dangerous man." (Deadline.com)
