LOS ANGELES, September 18, 2016 - FX Networks has received a basic cable record 18 Emmy(R) Awards, led by 9 Emmy Awards for The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. The 6 Emmy Awards received by FX at tonight's Primetime Emmy Awards, along with the 12 Creative Arts Emmy Awards already presented, topping the previous basic cable record of 8 (FX and Comedy Central 2015, FX 2014, AMC 2008) and the awards totals of all broadcast networks, cable networks and streaming services.
