LOUIS C.K.'S GROUNDBREAKING, EMMY(R)-NOMINATED SERIES "HORACE AND PETE" LANDS ON HULU
SANTA MONICA, CA (December 09, 2016) - In its first-ever deal with Louis C.K., Hulu has acquired the exclusive streaming rights to Horace and Pete. The Emmy(R)- and Gotham Award-nominated dramedy is now available to stream in its entirety only on Hulu.
After becoming available for purchase on Louis C.K.'s website and garnering critical acclaim, all ten episodes of the groundbreaking series officially make their streaming debut today on Hulu and are available to subscribers across all Hulu-enabled devices.
The series revolves around an Irish bar, Horace and Pete's, and the people who work in and frequent it. C.K., who wrote and directed the series, stars as Horace, the man who runs the bar a year after the death of his father. The series co-stars Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie, The Sopranos), six-time Emmy(R) and Golden Globe Award winner Alan Alda, Academy Award-winner Jessica Lange, Aidy Bryant (Saturday Night Live) and Laurie Metcalf in a role that earned an Emmy Nomination for Best Guest Actress.
Horace and Pete is created by Louis C.K., and executive produced by M. Blair Breard, Dave Becky, Vernon Chatman and Dino Stamatopoulos.
The series joins Hulu's rapidly expanding library of premium exclusive content, including Homeland, ROOTS, Blindspot, Empire, Fargo, Curious George, South Park and groundbreaking licensing deals with major cable networks FX, Turner and AMC Networks, as well as full libraries of hit broadcast and cable shows, and premium original series.
