24: LEGACY (FOX) - Gerald McRaney has joined the cast of the spin-off as new series regular Henry Donovan, "the father of presidential candidate John Donovan (Jimmy Smits). A powerful oil man and passionately devoted father, Henry is dedicated to putting his son in the White House, no matter what the obstacles." (Deadline.com)
CHARMED (The CW, New!) - The netlet is looking to revive the former The WB staple with a new series "set in 1976 and features a new trio of witches." Jessica O'Toole and Amy Rardin will pen the potential teleplay from a story they conceived with Jennie Snyder Urman. Also on board to executive produce are Propagate Content's Ben Silverman and director Brad Silberling for CBS Television Studios. No other specifics were given. Christopher Keyser and Sydney Sidner spearheaded a previous reboot at CBS and The Tannenbaum Company in 2013 which didn't move past the script stage. (Deadline.com)
CLUELESS GAMER (TBS, New!) - The cable channel is looking to expand the viral "Conan" segments - in which "Conan O'Brien checks out buzzy new video game titles, frequently with a famous celebrity, and riffs on the action" - into a full-fledged series. O'Brien and Jeff Ross will presumably executive produce via their Conaco banner. (Deadline.com)
CONAN (TBS) - The late-night talk show reportedly will undergo a transformation from its current four-hour weekly schedule. Among the possibilities: cutting back to 30 minutes per night or trimming the number of nights per week. The series would likewise shift to more filmed segments rather than studio pieces. It's understood a decision will be made in the next couple months. (Deadline.com)
FLINT (Lifetime) - Cher has signed on to star in and executive produce the docudrama, which "examines the events that led to the toxic crime committed against the residents of Flint." Bruce Beresford will direct from a script by Barbara Stepansky. Production is expected to begin in the spring, pending a formal green light from the cable channel. Craig Zadan, Neil Meron and Katie Couric also serve as executive producers for the Sony Pictures Television-based Storyline Entertainment. (Deadline.com)
HANDMAID'S TALE, THE (Hulu) - Alexis Bledel will recur on the upcoming Margaret Atwood adaptation as Ofglen, "Offred's (Elisabeth Moss) companion and fellow Handmaid. At first, Ofglen seems like a pious rule-follower, loyal to the oppressive Gilead system, but she turns out to be daring and subversive." (Deadline.com)
HAUNTED, THE (Syfy) - Steve Kazee, David Alpay and DeVaughn Nixon will join Lyndsy Fonseca and Elizabeth Cappuccino in the supernatural horror drama pilot, about "four siblings - Juno (Fonseca), Virgil (Alpay), Ellis (Kazee) and Hester (Cappuccino) - who reunite following their parents' deaths. As they try to overcome their fractured personal relationships, they find that they must also face the literal ghosts from their past in order to survive." Nixon then will play James Terry, "a detective in the Savannah Police Department who, along with his partner, investigates the strange circumstances surrounding the Bradley deaths." (Deadline.com)
