By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The latest development news, culled from recent wire reports:

Looking to keep track of all the various projects in development? Click here to visit our signature "Devwatch" section. There visitors can view our listings by network, genre, studio and even development stage (ordered to pilot, cast-contingent, script, etc.). It's updated every day!

CITIZEN/WHEN THE STREET LIGHTS GO ON (Hulu) - The streaming service has reportedly passed on both drama pilots, the latter of which will instead premiere at this year's Sundance Film Festival. (Deadline.com)
HAPPY! (Syfy) - Lili Mirojnick (Friends with Benefits) has been tapped for a role on the Christopher Meloni-led drama pilot. She'll play Det. Meredith McCarthy, "a tough homicide detective in a man's world. She's a good cop who's had to swallow her pride and give up her ideals to save her job and protect her elderly mother. Will the secrets of her past bring damnation - or redemption?" (Deadline.com)
LUCIFER (FOX) - Timothy Omundson will drop by the series as God Johnson, "a patient in a psychiatric hospital, who is charming, enigmatic, and oh yeah, he thinks he's the one and only God Almighty." (EW.com)
ME, MYSELF & I (CBS) - Dan Kopelman's single-camera comedy - which examines one man's life over a 50-year span: as a 14-year-old in 1991, a 40-year-old in present day and a 65-year-old in 2042 - has received a pilot order from the Eye. Warner Bros. Television is behind the hour with Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
ONCE UPON A TIME (ABC) - Native American actress Sara Tomko has been cast as the Peter Pan character of Tiger Lily on the series. (TVLine.com)
QUEEN OF THE SOUTH (USA) - Yancey Arias will recur on the show's second season as Colonel Cortez, "a reluctant Epifanio Vargas's (Joaquim de Almeida) new business partner. A man of war in the Mexican Special Forces, Cortez spent the last two decades battling the cartels, proving himself to be every bit as cunning, ruthless and bloodthirsty as the sicarios he hunted." (Deadline.com)
RAISED BY WOLVES (ABC) - Diablo Cody's import of the U.K. comedy - about Sheila Gable, a tough single mother to five offbeat kids, trying to survive on a shoestring budget in a (not) beautiful Midwestern town - has received a pilot commitment from the Alphabet. Caitlin Moran, Caroline Moran, Caroline Leddy, Greg Berlanti, Kenton Allen, Matthew Justice and Sarah Schechter also serve as executive producers for the Warner Bros. Television-based half-hour. (Deadline.com)
TEN DAYS IN THE VALLEY (ABC) - Malcolm-Jamal Warner has signed onto the upcoming drama as Matt, "the head writer on Jane's (Kyra Sedgwick) cable cop show." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED KOURTNEY KANG PROJECT (NBC) - Kourtney Kang's single-camera comedy - about what it's like to grow up as the only girl in the only mixed race family in the suburbs of Philadelphia - is likewise heading to pilot at the Peacock. Isabella Russo has already been cast in the lead role of Katie, "growing up in the suburbs of Philly in 1988." Nahnatchka Khan and director Fred Savage also serve as executive producers for 20th Century Fox Television. (Deadline.com)
WITCHBLADE (NBC, New!) - Caroline Dries and Brian Young ("The Vampire Diaries") are developing a new small screen take on the comic book property, about "homicide detective Sara Pezzini, who's on the hunt for an elusive serial killer and must navigate the grisly streets and police politics of San Francisco's Mission District - until one day, the bracelet she has worn her entire life gives her supernatural insight into a crime she's trying to solve. Her bracelet is the Witchblade, an amulet that has been worn by remarkable women throughout history, and Sara is next in line." Carol Mendelsohn Productions' Carol Mendelsohn and Julie Weitz, Circle of Confusion's Rick Jacobs and Dave Alpert and Top Cow's Marc Silvestri and Matt Hawkins will also executive produce for Sony Pictures Television. Yancy Butler previously starred in its two-season incarnation at TNT from 2000-2002. (THR.com)
