THEY MAY HAVE THEIR PARENTS' ZIP CODE, MONEY AND GENES,
BUT FAMILY MEANS MUCH MORE THAN A NAME
GROWING UP SUPER MODEL (wt) Begins Production in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 6, 2017) - Lifetime's all-new family docuseries, Growing Up Super Model (wt), follows a new group of young star models, some just starting out and some already making waves in the industry, risking it all to live up to their famous household names. The series explores universal family themes and life stories through the unique, exclusive access to celebrity families with the second generation pursuing their parents' success. Growing Up Super Model is starting production in Los Angeles and will premiere this summer.
With the genes of their gorgeous parents on their side, celebrity offspring seemed destined to make it to the top, but the right DNA is often only half the battle in this competitive world. This new generation of "it" kids, armed with formidable genetics and astronomical social media followings, is trying to take the world of modeling by storm. In this cutthroat business, the advantages you're born with will only get you so far. These young models are all finding out it's hard work, and having a famous name is a double-edged sword, creating expectations and burdens at the same time it generates opportunities. And the parents, whose success has paved the way, discover that being a star is much easier than raising one.
Growing Up Super Model follows the family dynamics and exciting and unpredictable careers of some of the top young models on the scene today: celebrity daughters Cambrie and Faith Schroder, Atiana De La Hoya (daughter of actress Shanna Moakler and boxer Oscar De La Hoya), Arissa Le Brock (daughter of model Kelly Le Brock and actor Steven Seagal), Cairo Peele (daughter of model Beverly Peele), Jake Moritt (son of actress Krista Allen), and internationally known and acclaimed model Janis Ostojic (son of accomplished models JD & Martine Ostojic).
Growing Up Super Model is produced by Evolution Media. Douglas Ross, Alex Baskin and John Carr are executive producers for Evolution, and Brian McCarthy and James Davis are co-executive producers. Liz Gateley, Mariana Flynn and Mary Donahue executive produce for Lifetime.
