BLACKLIST, THE (NBC) - Aldis Hodge will drop by the veteran drama as Mario Dixon, "a high-end thief with uncommon tastes. He's on the FBI's Most Wanted list for stealing luxury items, but with his powerful physique and violent tendencies, he's not afraid to get his hands dirty. Though he's not technically a blacklister, Mario is definitely not a good guy." (EW.com)
BOLD TYPE, THE (Freeform) - Nikohl Boosheri has scored an arc on the upcoming drama as Adena El-Amin: "Intelligent, talented and confident, Adena is a photographer who recently moved to New York. After being interviewed by Scarlet Magazine about her bold feminist photography, Adena, who is a lesbian, forms a close friendship with Kat (Aisha Dee), the magazine's social media director." (Deadline.com)
COUNTERPART (Starz) - Jacqueline Bisset, Stefan Kapicic, Jacqueline Antaramian, Liv Lisa Fries, Christiane Paul, Ingo Rademacher and Marco Khan have all scored arcs on the series. Bisset will play Lydia Burton, "mother to Emily (Olivia Williams) and matriarch of the family"; with Kapicic as Lieber, "the right-hand man of Shaw (Nicholas Pinnock) who has little respect for Howard"; Antaramian as Ava Fancher, "married to the head of diplomacy Roland Fancher (Richard Schiff), she comes second to his loyalty to the office"; Fries as Greta, "a free-spirited, bohemian young woman who catches the eye of one of the show's leads with her unexpected kindness"; Paul as Mira, "the leader of a clandestine group whose presence figures into the first season in major way"; Rademacher as Friedrich, "Quayle's best friend who often is called upon for favors inside the Office of Interchange"; and Khan as Raash, "Howard Prime's right-hand man, a loyal and reliable operative." (Deadline.com)
FUTURE MAN (Hulu) - Britt Lower will recur on the upcoming comedy as Jeri, "a co-worker who Josh (Josh Hutcherson) has been crushing on from afar for years. She's smart and beautiful, but it's only when Josh works up the courage to talk to her that he realizes she's also a bit of a weirdo, with an oddball sense of humor that might match perfectly with his own." Other guest stars include Haley Joel Osment and Keith David. (THR.com)
HANNAH ROYCE'S QUESTIONABLE CHOICES (CBS) - Tyler Labine is set as the male lead on the comedy pilot, which stars Alice Eve as a woman who has made some interesting choices throughout her life - namely, having three different kids with three different men - but all have led her to having a very unique, loving, blended family. He'll play Barry, "Hannah's (Eve) first husband and the father of her oldest child, Scarlett. A know-it-all ex-stoner who now teaches home-ec and drivers ed, Barry met Hannah in high school, but his Peter Pan ways broke up their marriage. Undeterred, Barry just moved into his mom's house down the street and is still very much a part of Hannah's extended family, getting together with them every day for meals and companionship." (Deadline.com)
LOST IN SPACE (Netflix) - Raza Jaffrey is slated to recur on the streaming service's upcoming reboot as Victor: "Well groomed, educated and officious, with a sense of entitlement, Victor has been a career builder and politician from a young age. There is arrogance and impatience about him. All this masks the underlying fear that he'll one day be found out - that he isn't quite good enough." (Deadline.com)
LUCIFER (FOX) - Lauren Holly is bound for the series in one of its holdover episodes from season two. (TVLine.com)
NCIS: NEW ORLEANS (CBS) - Executive producer Chris Silber has signed a two-year overall deal with CBS Television Studios. The pact covers his duties on the series as well as any future development. (Deadline.com)
RED MARS (Spike TV) - J. Michael Straczynski's small screen take on Kim Stanley Robinson's novel has been tabled as the cable channel transitions to the Paramount Network next year. Said news was confirmed by Kevin Kay, president of Paramount Network, in an interview. 10 episodes were originally commissioned back in December of 2015. (Deadline.com)
STILL THE KING (CMT) - Ben Savage will recur on the show's second season as Gene, "a no-nonsense Securities Exchange Commission agent who dreams of making the big bust." (Deadline.com)
YOUNG & HUNGRY (Freeform) - Jose Moreno Brooks is slated for a recurring role on the series as Juan Carlo, "a Mexican street vendor and Casanova that Sofia (Aimee Carrero) falls for while on vacation." (Deadline.com)
