9JKL (CBS) - Albert Tsai has been promoted to series regular on the newcomer after guest starring in the pilot as Ian, "a precocious cinephile who is unimpressed with Josh's (Mark Feuerstein) TV career." Additionally, Austen Earl has signed on as a co-executive producer as part of an overall deal with CBS Television Studios. (Deadline.com)
DEEP MAD DARK, THE (TNT) - Two-time Oscar nominee Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook) is the first to be cast in the drama pilot, about Detroit neurosurgeon Polly Lewis as she embarks on an unorthodox study in the field of memory and trauma. She'll play Lydia Prince-Richard, the leader of a strange, off-the-grid community in Belize. (Deadline.com)
DOUBT (CBS) - Executive producer Tony Phelan took to Twitter with the news CBS will burn off the remaining episodes of the series on Saturday nights at 8:00/7:00c beginning July 1. (@TonyTphelan)
LAST MAN STANDING (ABC) - CMT has passed on a potential revival of the former ABC comedy. Said report indicates the network and producer 20th Century Fox Television "could not agree on the numbers." (Deadline.com)
MAJOR CRIMES (TNT) - Amirah Vann is set to recur on the new season as Special Agent Jazzma Fey, "a team player whose loyalty is tested by a zealous partner determined to score political points while Jazzma focuses her energy on the crime." (Deadline.com)
ONE DAY AT A TIME (Netflix) - Co-creator Gloria Calderon Kellett has inked a two-year overall deal with the show's producer Sony Pictures Television. There she'll continue on the series as well as develop new series projects via her Big Girl Pants Pictures banner. (Deadline.com)
RAY DONOVAN (Showtime) - Kim Raver will recur on the upcoming season as "cutting-edge surgeon Dr. Bergstein." (Deadline.com)
TAP, THE (USA) - The cable channel has passed on the drama pilot, which took place at Yale University in 1969 and explores the height of America's cultural and political revolutions as one of its students, Jay Butler (Colin Woodell), is simultaneously recruited into the country's two most secretive and powerful organizations, the CIA and Skull and Bones.
