Amazon's Fall 2017 Kids Live-Action Pilot Season Premieres this Friday, Exclusively on Prime Video
This Friday, September 1, the Amazon kids fall pilot season will debut in over 200 countries and territories exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. Live-action kids pilots include A Kid Called Mayonnaise from Will McRobb (The Adventures of Pete and Pete), Skyward from Greg Coolidge (The Troop) and Kirk Ward (The Expendables), and Will vs. The Future from Tim McKeon (Odd Squad) and Kevin Seccia (Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness).
All Amazon.com customers are once again invited to stream and review the new pilots to help select the next Amazon Original Series. Amazon customer feedback on pilots has helped make some of the most critically-acclaimed and popular kids series to date, including multi Emmy-winning series Tumble Leaf, Emmy-winning pilot Niko and the Sword of Light, Emmy-winning special Lost in Oz: Extended Adventure, and the most-streamed kids 6-11 Amazon Original Series to date, Just Add Magic.

A Kid Called Mayonnaise
Mayo Davis (Elliott Smith, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping) is an introspective 11 year old who lives with his mom Muriel (Beth Lacke, Frequency) at the Alamo motel, a charming but slightly rundown property in L.A. The motel is filled with dreamers and misfits, but Mayo has his sights set on befriending the enigmatic Birthday Girl. Together with his neighbor Candy (Brooke Markham, Cassandra French's Finishing School), Mayo sets off on an adventurous chase through his new neighborhood in search of a like-minded friend. A Kid Called Mayonnaise is written and executive produced by Will McRobb (The Adventures of Pete and Pete) and directed by Luke Matheny (Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street) and features an original song by Diet Cig.
Skyward
Skyward is a supernatural adventure comedy about three friends who host a secret underground podcast exploring UFO and alien sightings in their tiny town of Wildwood, Oregon. Twelve-year old Piper (Mia Sinclair Jenness, Orange is the New Black) is convinced that extraterrestrials are real, but her best friend Curtis (Caleel Harris, Blaze and the Monster Machines) isn't so sure. Rounding out their trio is Ira (Griffin Kunitz, Days of our Lives), who has a garage full of inventions and gadgets they can use on their adventures. Together, the three of them try to prove the existence of aliens and can't help but become personally involved with the cases of people who call into their show. Skyward is created and written by Greg Coolidge (The Troop) and Kirk Ward (The Expendables), directed by Jonathan Judge (Sigmund and the Sea Monsters) and executive produced by Coolidge, Ward, Judge and Sabrina Wind (Desperate Housewives).
Will vs. The Future
Will vs. The Future is a comedic sci-fi action series about middle-schooler Will Jin (Teo Briones, Lonely Boy) who is visited by a time-traveling, rebel warrior named Athena (Lexi Underwood, Henry Danger). Athena shocks Will when she tells him that he grows up to destroy the world. With the help of his best friend, the less than reliable Hailey (Ashlyn Faith Williams, School of Rock), Will must take control of his future in order to save the world. Also featuring Thomas F. Wilson (Back to the Future) as Principal Rhodes. Written and Executive Produced by Tim McKeon (Odd Squad) and Kevin Seccia (Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness), and directed by Joe Nussbaum (Just Add Magic), featuring an original song by Rhett Miller of the Old 97's.
