ARRANGEMENT, THE (E!) - Jacob Artist is set to recur on season two as Wes Blaker, "a charming young man with a sharp sense of humor and a dark side." (Deadline.com)
FALLING WATER (USA) - Brittany Allen is bound for the show's sophomore run as Sabine Brighton, "Tess's (Lizzie Brocheré) big sister, a clinical psychologist, and the love of Taka's (Will Yun Lee) life." She replaces Brooke Bloom, "who could not return due to a scheduling conflict." (Deadline.com)
FEAR THE WALKING DEAD (AMC) - Co-creator/former showrunner Dave Erickson has signed a multi-year overall deal with Sony Pictures Television. (Deadline.com)
GIFTED, THE (FOX) - Garret Dillahunt has been tapped to recur on the newcomer as Roderick Campbell, "a mutant researcher contracted by the Sentinel Services. Professorial, intense and intimidating, Dr. Campbell has a morally dubious mission yet to be revealed." (Deadline.com)
GROWN-ISH (Freeform) - Luka Sabbat has scored an arc on the "Black-ish" spin-off as Luca Hall, "a free-spirited, wannabe existentialist and fellow student at California University." (Deadline.com)

MIRACLES WE HAVE SEEN (CBS, New!) - Grant Thompson (McFarland, USA) has set up a potential hour at the Eye billed as "a medical drama that exists at the intersection of spirituality and medicine, revolving around two surgeons - one who is grounded in hard data and the other who pursues a dual mission of faith and science." The project is based on Harley Rotbart's book, subtitled "America's Leading Physicians Share Stories They Can't Forget," with Safehouse Pictures' Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell as well as Mehmet Oz and Lisa Oz executive producing for Sony Pictures Television and CBS Television Studios. MR. FREDERICK (CBS, New!) - Ryan Raddatz ("The Odd Couple") is developing a multi-camera comedy at the Eye about "a progressive family that welcomes their lonely widowed neighbor into their lives only to learn he's an outspoken conservative." Eric and Kim Tannenbaum are also executive producing via their CBS Television Studios-based Tannenbaum Co. (Variety.com)
SMILF (Showtime) - Kimberley Crossman will recur on the upcoming comedy as Kit-Cat, "the roommate of Samara Weaving's character Nelson. Kit-Cat is described as unapologetically optimistic despite her troubled past, as well as possessing a strong business sense." (Variety.com)
THEY CAN'T KILL US ALL (AMC, New!) - LaToya Morgan ("TURN: Washington's Spies") is looking to bring Wesley Lowery's bestselling nonfiction book, subtitled "Ferguson, Baltimore, and a New Era in America's Racial Justice Movement," to the small screen. The book examines "how decades of racially biased policing in segregated neighborhoods with failing schools, crumbling infrastructure and too few jobs has led to the high-profile cases of police brutality in Ferguson, Cleveland, Baltimore and elsewhere and the birth of Black Lives Matter movement seeking justice for the deaths of Michael Brown, Tamir Rice and Freddie Gray." Makeready's Brad Weston, Pam Abdy and Scott Nemes will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
TRANSPARENT (Amazon) - Jill Gordon has signed onto the series as executive producer/showrunner. She'll take over the day-to-day operations on the recently ordered season five from creator Jill Soloway, who will focus on the other projects via her overall deal at Amazon Studios. (Deadline.com)
