TRAVEL CHANNEL GREENLIGHTS 'MYSTERIOUS ISLANDS'
WITH TRAVEL JOURNALIST, PILOT AND EXPLORER KELLEE EDWARDS
NEW YORK (February 19, 2018) - Travel Channel has greenlit production on new series "Mysterious Islands," with travel journalist and explorer Kellee Edwards. Edwards will use her experience as a pilot, scuba diver and explorer to uncover some of the world's fascinating and beautiful islands. Production begins in April, with the series slated to premiere in late 2018.
"For me, there's nowhere more remote or mysterious than an island," said Edwards. "Out of thousands of them on earth, travelers only visit a handful. I'm searching for the islands that most people have never seen, isolated places that are filled with questions and secrets to be explored. And I'll do anything to get there - climb, dive or fly."
