FOX Renews "Gotham" for Fifth and Final Season

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX has booked one last trip to "Gotham," ordering a fifth and final season of the series.

The news was confirmed by a network spokesperson this afternoon, who added the final season will focus on Bruce Wayne's transformation into the caped crusader.

FOX further details the series as follows:

· Studio: Warner Bros.

· EP: Bruno Heller, Danny Cannon and John Stephens

· LOGLINE: The fifth and final season will wrap up this unique origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, which revealed an entirely new chapter that has never been told.

· GOTHAM averages a 1.4/6 L7 and 5.8 million Total Multi-Platform Viewers (up +115% from Live + Same Day).
