AMERICAN HORROR STORY (FX) - Cody Fern has been cast as Michael Langdon in the franchise's upcoming "Apocalypse" installment. (@MrRPMurphy)
LOL: LAST ONE LAUGHING (Amazon, New!) - Eugenio Derbez is slated to host a new six-part reality game show at the streaming service in which 10 comedians are placed in a closed room with the aim to make each other laugh. "The last person who manages to keep a straight face and stay in the room wins a cash prize." The project is based on the Japanese game show "HITOSHI MATSUMOTO Presents Documental" with Derbez, Litopos Productions' Juan Maldonado and 3Pas Studios' Ben Odell all serving as executive producers for Endemol Shine Boomdog, the new Spanish-language division of Endemol Shine North America. QUEEN AMERICA (Facebook Watch) - Judith Light is set to recur on the Catherine Zeta-Jones-led series as Regina, "Vicki's (Zeta-Jones) former pageant coach, who transformed Vicki from a trailer park girl. Bred from 'old money,' Regina represents much of what Vicki aspires to, fueling the duo's toxic and complex relationship." (Deadline.com)
SIREN (Freeform) - Garcelle Beauvais has been tapped for a recurring role on the second season as Susan Bishop, "Maddie's (Fola Evans-Akingbola) mom and Dale's (Gil Birmingham) wife, who abandoned her family for the past ten months. She is back in Bristol Cove and ready to make amends with her family." (Deadline.com)
SPEECHLESS (ABC) - John Cleese has been cast as "the estranged father of Minnie Driver's character, Maya" for the show's two-part third season premiere. (Variety.com)
UNBELIEVABLE (Netflix) - Danielle Macdonald (Patti Cake$) has signed onto the eight-episode limited series in a yet-to-be-revealed role. She joins the previously announced Toni Collette, Merritt Wever and Kaitlyn Dever. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED NATE BARGATZE PROJECT (ABC) - Nate Bargatze's multi-camera comedy - which "follows Nate and his wife, who choose to move from California to Nate's native Tennessee to raise their 6-year-old daughter with a combination of West Coast and Southern values" - is being redeveloped by ABC and 20th Century Fox Television. The project was previously set up at FOX last season and since found its way to the Alphabet, where it was a put pilot commitment. Danielle Sanchez-Witzel has signed on as showrunner with Bargatze, Jerrod Carmichael, Ari Katcher and Dan Shaki penning the script. Brillstein Entertainment Partners' Tim Sarkes, Alex Murray and Jon Liebman will executive produce alongside Sanchez-Witzel, Bargatze and Carmichael with Katcher and Shaki as co-executive producers. WILL & GRACE (NBC) - Chelsea Handler is bound for the upcoming season as Donna Zimmer, "a high-powered client of Grace's (Debra Messing) who starts dating her bitter sister Janet (Mary McCormack, who is returning to the comedy)." (EW.com)
