13 REASONS WHY (Netflix) - Timothy Granaderos and Brenda Strong, who play Montgomery de la Cruz and Nora Walker, have both been promoted to regulars for the show's third season. (Deadline.com)
2051 (Amazon, New!) - Comedian Mo Mandel has set up an animated project at the streaming service billed as "a workplace comedy set in 2051 - and if you think 2018 is terrible, just wait." Jason Fuchs and 3 Arts Entertainment's Greg Walter and Josh Lieberman will also serve as executive producers with Mandel writing and voicing one of the lead roles. (Deadline.com)
ANOTHER LIFE (Netflix) - The 10-episode drama, about a crew on a mission to explore the genesis of an alien artifact, has added A.J. Rivera as Bernie Martinez, "the Salvare's microbiologist and part-time chef"; Alexander Eling as Javier Almanzar, "a former hacker on board The Salvare as an expert in computer engineering"; Alex Ozerov as Oliver Sokolov, "one of The Salvare's engineers"; Jake Abel as Sasha Harrison, "the son of the U.S. Secretary of Defense"; JayR Tinaco as Zayn Petrossian, "the ship's medic"; Jessica Camacho as Michelle Vargas, "The Salvare's communications expert"; Barbara Williams as Blair Dubois, "a General with the United States Interstellar Command"; and Lina Renna as Jana Breckinridge-Wallace, "a wonderful mix of both her parents, Niko Breckinridge (Katee Sackhoff) and Erik Wallace (Justin Chatwin)." BOLD TYPE, THE (Freeform) - Peter Vack and Alexis Floyd are both bound for the show's third season as Patrick Duchand, "a magnetic, fearless, and whip-smart new staffer at Scarlet whose employment shakes things up"; and Tia Clayton, "a smart and driven campaign manager for a local city council candidate," respectively. CAN-CAN (ABC, New!) - Comedian Maysoon Zayid is set to star in a potential single-camera comedy at the Alphabet which "follows the life of a Muslim woman who has cerebral palsy, as she struggles to find love, the right career, and discover who she is separate of her opinionated Muslim parents." Joanna Quraishi will co-write the Universal TV-based project, which has a penalty attached, alongside Zayid with Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner also serving as executive producers. (Deadline.com)
FINLEY & JUNE (The CW, New!) - Rina Mimoun and Anna Fricke are set to team for a new drama at the netlet about "when a tightly-wound aspiring children's book author meets an actual fairy with rage issues in a Griffith Park restroom, the magic of female friendship takes on literal new meaning as the two millennials help each other navigate hipster LA in the quest to fulfill their destinies." Director Brad Silberling is also on board to executive produce for CBS TV Studios. (Deadline.com)

MAYOR (CBS, New!) - Barbara Hall ("Madam Secretary") has set up a new drama at the Eye about "when a young activist runs for Mayor of NY on a whim, her surprise victory launches her onto a political stage that she's not prepared for, but is determined to take on with her idealistic enthusiasm." Nina Tassler and Denise Di Novi of PatMa Productions will also executive produce alongside Hall for CBS TV Studios. (Deadline.com)

UNDER THE BRIDGE (CBS, New!) - Rina Mimoun has set up a new drama at the Eye about "when a scandal rocks the medical practice she runs with her husband and their friends, a surgeon rises to the occasion and takes the lead in trying to mend both the practice and her own marriage." Jerry Bruckheimer Television's Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and KristieAnne Reed will also executive produce the hour for CBS TV Studios, home to Mimoun's new overall deal. (Deadline.com)
UNINSURED (NBC, New!) - Dan Levy has sold a single-camera comedy to the Peacock about "young parents Dave and Rebecca, who in addition to raising their two kids, end up taking care of Dave's parents, Elliot and Linda, who have mishandled their finances and need their help to pay down a sizable debt." Sony Pictures TV-based Doug Robinson Productions is behind the half-hour with the company's Doug Robinson and Alison Greenspan likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED KRISTEN SCHAAL PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Kristen Schaal is attached to star in a new half-hour at the Alphabet billed as "a family comedy told from a child's perspective is about working together, overcoming adversity and getting the monsters in your closet not to eat you." Simon Rich is penning the project, which has a put pilot commitment, for ABC Studios, home to Rich's newly signed two-year overall deal. Schaal will receive a producing credit. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED YOUNG NANCY DREW PROJECT (The CW, New!) - Noga Landau has booked a new small screen take on Edward Stratemeyer's literary heroine: "Set in the summer after her high school graduation, Nancy thought she'd be leaving her hometown for college, but when a family tragedy holds her back another year, she finds herself embroiled in a ghostly murder investigation - and along the way, uncovers secrets that run deeper than she ever imagined."
