FIX, THE (ABC) - Erik Palladino, Skye P. Marshall and Taylor Kalupa are the latest set to recur on the midseason drama. Palladino will play Leo Foster, "a deputy at the D.A.'s office"; with Marshall as Angela Ashley, "an ambitious young lawyer who becomes involved in the case"; and Kalupa as Jessica Meyer, "the murder victim for whom Sevvy is under suspicion." GENERATION GAP (CBS, New!) - Dan Kopelman ("Me, Myself & I") is back in business with the Eye for a new single-camera comedy about "the hell of teenage years, as told from the dueling perspectives of a 16-year-old girl and her father." Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor will also executive produce the Warner Bros. Television-based project, which has a put pilot commitment. (Deadline.com)
GREAT NORTH, THE (FOX, New!) - "Bob's Burgers" veterans Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux are set to team with Minty Lewis ("Regular Show") for an animated comedy at the network which "follows the Alaskan adventures of the Tobin family as single dad Beef does his best to keep his weird bunch of kids close, especially as the artistic dreams of his only daughter Judy lead her away from the family fishing boat and into the glamorous world of the local mall." Nick Offerman, Jenny Slate, Megan Mullally, Paul Rust, Aparna Nancherla, Will Forte and Dulcé Sloan have already been cast in the project, which will complete a pilot presentation following a table read earlier this week. Loren Bouchard is also on board to executive produce. No studio was indicated. (Deadline.com)
I'M DYING UP HERE (Showtime) - The pay channel has pulled the plug on the drama series after two seasons. The show's de facto finale on July 8 drew a modest 248,000 viewers (58,000 adults 18-49) in Live+3 ratings. (Deadline.com)
RIVERDALE (The CW) - Riley Keough will visit the network's serial as Laurie Lake, "an all-American farm girl who takes in Archie (KJ Apa) and Jughead (Cole Sprouse) after they wander onto her property in need of shelter, but what starts as a warm and possibly flirtatious interaction twists into a situation that presents more danger than they could have imagined." SPLITTING UP TOGETHER (ABC) - Angela Kinsey will reunite with fellow "The Office" alum Jenna Fischer in an upcoming episode as a "local real estate agent who's interested in buying Martin (Oliver Hudson) and Lena (Fischer)'s home." (EW.com)
SWAMP THING (DC) - Jennifer Beals has been cast as Sheriff Lucilia Cable on the upcoming series for the streaming service. (@TheDCUniverse)
ZOEY'S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST (NBC, New!) - Writer Austin Winsberg and director Paul Feig are set to team for an hourlong musical dramedy at the Peacock about "a whip-smart, socially awkward girl in her late 20s who is suddenly given an extraordinary ability to know the deepest desires of the people around her through songs." FeigCo's Jessie Henderson; Polygram Entertainment's David Blackman and Daniel Inkeles; and The Tannenbaum Company's Kim Tannenbaum, Eric Tannenbaum and Jason Wang are also on board to executive produce the Lionsgate Television-based project, which has a penalty attached.
