1899 (Netflix, New!) - Jantje Friese and Baran bo Odar ("Dark") have set up a new drama at the streaming service that "will follow a migrant steamship heading west to leave the old continent from London to New York. The original series will follow the boat's passengers, a mixed bag of European origins who are united by their hopes and dreams for the new century and their future abroad. When they discover another migrant ship adrift on open sea, their journey takes an unexpected turn. What they find on board will turn their passage to the promised land into a horrifying nightmare." No other auspices were given. (Deadline.com)
BIG BANG THEORY, THE (CBS) - "Young Sheldon" co-stars Iain Armitage, Lance Barber and Montana Jordan are set to drop by the parent series in December for "an epic crossover for the ages." (@bigbangtheory)

HOOD RIVER (FOX, New!) - Travis Bowe has sold a multi-camera comedy to the network about "a diverse group of people who work and congregate in the town's brewery. The core relationship is based on two characters, Pete and his mother, Sandy, who are based on Bowe and his mom's real relationship that he reluctantly admits is more of a mother/daughter relationship." Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor will also executive produce for 20th Century Fox Television. (Deadline.com)
MAGIC HOUR (Apple) - Adrian Hough, Joelle Carter, Jibrail Nantambu and Deric McCabe have all joined the cast of the Hilde Lysiak-inspired series. Hough plays Jack Fife, the town mayor; with Carter as Kim Collins, a school principal; and Nantambu and McCabe as Donny and Spoon, respectively, Hilde's new friends. (Deadline.com)

NARCOS (Netflix) - Jesse Garcia has been confirmed as a series regular on the upcoming fourth season, due this Friday. He plays "a DEA agent who volunteers for a dangerous assignment in Mexico." (Deadline.com)
NOBODY'S PRINCESS (The CW, New!) - Erin Cardillo and Richard Keith are set to team with Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner for a potential "musical comedy that reimagines the stories of four classic fairy tale princesses for today's generation. Instead of being set "once upon a time, in a land far away" where princesses were waiting around for true love to find them, the time is now, the setting is New York City, and the princesses are a group of friends in their twenties who are setting out to change the world and create their happily-ever-afters on their own terms." CBS Television Studios is behind the hour with Zachary and Weiner; In Good Company's Keith and Cardillo; and Fulwell 73's James Corden, Jeff Grosvenor, Ben Winston and Leo Pearlman executive producing. (Deadline.com)
PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: THE PERFECTIONISTS (Freeform) - Klea Scott is set to recur on the upcoming spin-off series as Dana, "the new head of security at Beacon Heights University, who is determined and perceptive almost to the point of omniscience. After recent events, she keeps Alison (Sasha Pieterse), Mona (Janel Parrish) and our Perfectionists on their toes." (Deadline.com)
SILICON VALLEY (HBO) - The pay channel has pushed production on the show's sixth season until Summer 2019, likely keeping the series off the air until 2020. Cited as the season: the busy schedule of executive producer Alec Berg, who also runs fellow HBO comedy "Barry." (TVLine.com)
STRANGE CASE OF THE ALCHEMIST DAUGHTER, THE (The CW, New!) - A.J. Marechal has sold a small screen take on the novels by fantasy author Theodora Goss to the netlet "set in Victorian London where two radically different young women - one the daughter of Dr. Jekyll; the other, Mr. Hyde - discover they're half-sisters when a series of gruesome murders appear connected to their deceased father. They unite with other unsung but remarkable daughters of famous literary figures to rise above societal norms and unearth the mystery of their origins." CBS Television Studios is behind the hour with Gellervision's Glenn Geller and The Gotham Group's Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Jeremy Bell, D.J. Goldberg and Eddie Gamarra likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED DUSTY SLAY PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Comedian Dusty Slay is attached to star in a new semi-autobiographical comedy at the Alphabet about "a middle-aged single mother, who despite her blue collar lifestyle strives to give her loved ones all the joys of a normal life." Chadd Gindin is penning the project for ABC Studios with Levity Live!'s Judi Marmel and Alex Goodman likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
WHAT IF? (ABC, New!) - Jack Cutmore-Scott is set to write and star in a potential single-camera comedy at the Alphabet "that explores how seemingly insignificant choices - with the help of a little bit of luck - can have life-changing consequences." ABC Studios is behind the effort with Jay Lacopo and The District's Ruben Flerischer and David Bernad executive producing. Cutmore-Scott will be a supervising producer. (Deadline.com)
