'GROWN-ISH' AND SCHOLLY ANNOUNCE $125,000 STUDENT LOAN PAYOFF TO KICK OFF SEASON TWO OF THE CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED SERIES PREMIERING TONIGHT, JAN. 2

Freeform's 'grown-ish' Premieres With Two All-New, Back-to-Back Episodes Tonight, Beginning at 8:00 p.m.EST

To celebrate the second season of "grown-ish," premiering TONIGHT, JAN. 2 (8:00 p.m. EST), Freeform has teamed with the scholarship app Scholly to announce a student loan payoff of up to $125,000 for current students and graduates with an outstanding loan balance. Acknowledging that student loans have crippled a generation of young Americans and are keeping them from achieving their dreams, the program aims to help student loan borrowers pay off debts that may be holding them back from living their best lives. Thus far, Scholly has helped students win over $100 million dollars in scholarships and aided many in reducing their debt.

First round submissions and additional information for this life-changing opportunity can be found through https://myscholly.com/grownish or via the Scholly app. Winners will be announced at the 2019 Freeform Summit (details to come).

The sophomore season of the critically acclaimed series returns with two back-to-back episodes tonight, Jan. 2, at 8:00 p.m. EST. After the wide-eyed firsts of their freshman year, season two of "grown-ish" follows Zoey and her friends as they enter their second year at CalU with confidence and swagger. Learning from the ups and downs of their first year, they all think they've got their second year on lock, but quickly realize that they're not as grown as they think.

A contemporary take on the current issues facing students in the world of higher education, "grown-ish" is produced by ABC Signature Studios and executive produced by Kenya Barris, Julie Bean, Jenifer Rice-Genzuk Henry, Craig Doyle, Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, Helen Sugland and E. Brian Dobbins.

Reprising their roles after a stellar freshman season are Yara Shahidi as popular but entitled Zoey Johnson, Trevor Jackson as socially conscious Aaron Jackson, Francia Raisa as outspoken conservative Latina Ana Torres, Emily Arlook as openly and actively bisexual Nomi Segal, Jordan Buhat as troublemaker Vivek Shah, Chloe Bailey and Halle Bailey as twins and sporty-savants Jazz Forster and Sky Forster, Luka Sabbat as mellow and fashion-forward Luca Hall, and Deon Cole as eccentric and unpredictable Professor Charles Telphy.

Jan. 2 (8:00-8:31 p.m. EST) - Episode #2001 - "Better"

Zoey and the gang return for their sophomore year and Zoey is determined to make the "sequel" better than the original. She, Ana and Nomi move into a less-than-stellar off-campus apartment and have to quickly adjust to each other as roommates. Zoey is excited to see Luca again after a summer of keeping in touch via social media.

Jan. 2 (8:31-9:02 p.m. EST) - Episode #2002 - "Nothing Was the Same"

Zoey feels insecure when she realizes that her friends don't see her relationship with Luca as #RelationshipGoals, prompting her to try a little too hard to prove that what they have is special. In his first move as an RA, Aaron organizes a movie night to build community ... but his film choice does nothing to help people unwind.
