BREAKING BAD (AMC) - Netflix and AMC will both reportedly carry the top secret movie based on the Emmy-winning series. (Deadline.com)
CLAWS (TNT) - Seana Kofoed has been tapped for a recurring role on the new season as Gretch, "a woman who outwardly resembles a watered-down version of Polly (Carrie Preston) but is much wilder than she looks at first glance." (Deadline.com)
DOLLFACE (Hulu) - Esther Povitsky has joined the Kat Dennings-led comedy series as Izzy, "who works with Jane (Dennings) at Woom and is desperate to be accepted by their co-workers." (Deadline.com)
FBI: MOST WANTED (CBS) - Roxy Sternberg and Kellan Lutz are both bound for the proposed "FBI" spin-off. She'll play FBI Agent Sheryll Barnes, "an ex-NYPD detective with elevated street smarts." He's set as FBI Agent Crosby, "An Army intel vet Jess has taken under his wing, communications whiz." (Deadline.com)
(FUTURE) CULT CLASSIC (Syfy) - Emily Alyn Lind, Jacob McCarthy, Cayden Boyd, Abraham Juste and Zoe Renee have all scored roles in the pilot, set 18 years in the future, about a group of teens living in a community terrorized by a killer obsessed with '90s slasher flicks. Lind will play Bree, "a classic 90s horror movie Final Girl trapped in the wrong decade"; with McCarthy as Andy, "who has been Bree's best friend for nearly a decade, and for nearly all of that time has wanted to be more"; Boyd as Henry, "formerly popular, his social standing took a hit when he started dating Bree and hanging out with her friends - but he could care less"; Juste as Peyton, "a handsome guy and star football player"; and Renee as Mila, "another key member of our Scooby Gang, has always seemed a little disaffected from reality - the result of growing up in such an impersonal world." RUSSO BROTHERS INTERNATIONAL EVENT SERIES (Amazon) - Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg of Midnight Radio have been set as writers and executive producers of the event series. The project will launch with "an international tentpole series" followed by "multiple, connected local-language series, with the first two originating in India and Italy." (Deadline.com)
STAR TREK NICKELODEON ANIMATED SERIES (Nickelodeon, New!) - The cable channel is in negotiations with CBS Television Studios to land the latest proposed installment in the "Star Trek" franchise, an animated series targeted at younger audiences. Kevin and Dan Hageman are spearheading the project, with Alex Kurtzman of Secret Hideout also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
THEY BOTH DIE AT THE END (HBO, New!) - Chris Kelly is developing a new comedy at the pay channel based on Adam Silvera's book "set in the near-future where everyone receives a bureaucratic phone call notifying them at the start of their last day on Earth." Warner Bros Television-based Bad Robot Productions is behind the half-hour with J.J. Abrams and Ben Stephenson likewise executive producing and Rachel Rusch as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)
TOM CLANCY'S JACK RYAN (Amazon) - The streaming service revealed at the TCA Winter Press Tour the political thriller has been renewed for a third season, on top of the previously ordered second installment. (Deadline.com)
TOMMY (A.K.A. NANCY) (CBS) - Edie Falco has signed on for the title role in - while Kate Dennis is set to direct - the drama pilot, Abigail "Tommy" Thomas: "With a New Yorker's gift for being tough and sarcastic while remaining likable, Tommy - as she likes to be called - loves being a cop more than anything and is a former high-ranking NYPD officer who's just been hired as the first female Chief of Police for the LAPD. In her new role, Tommy uses her unflinching honesty and hardball tactics to navigate the social, political and national security issues that converge with enforcing the law." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ANNIE WEISMAN AND JASON KATIMS DRAMA (A.K.A. SISTERS) (FOX) - Annie Weisman's drama, from Universal Television and Endemol Shine North America, is the latest to score a pilot order. Additionally, Leslye Headland has signed on to direct and executive produce alongside Jason Katims, Jeni Mulein, Imogen Banks and Sharon Levy. Its logline is as follows: "Only child Julia Beckley has her life turned upside down when it's revealed that her father, a pioneering Nobel Prize-winning fertility doctor, used his own sperm to conceive dozens of children over the course of his career. Reeling from this explosive revelation, Julia discovers two new sisters -- her former best friend and an ex-Olympic athlete. Against all odds, the women attempt to form an untraditional family and lean on each other as they grapple with their own identity crises.
