She'll play said woman, Kate: "A charming, easygoing classic California blonde, Kate's an intellectual property lawyer who urges her fiancé, Auggie to tell his parents about their engagement - confident that they'll eventually get over the cultural differences and embrace the relationship. Lenehan will play Laura, "Bridget's (Heigl) loving, passive-aggressive mother who feels like she no longer has a place in her family after her daughter renovates the childhood home she grew up in and raises her kids with a radically different parental style." And Hendrie portrays Rory, "Bridget's old-school, sometimes problematic father who spends his time trying to appease his wife Laura - even if that means meddling in the lives of his children." (Deadline.com)
SISTERS (FOX) - Victoria Cartagena has joined the cast of the Australian import as Amanda, "a young, hip, self-assured, "gender-fluid" D.A. who's politically savvy & knows how to play the media. THE US PROJECT) (CBS) - Ronny Chieng and Susan Wokoma are the latest additions to the comedy pilot, billed as a story told through interviews and vignettes spanning 10 years, about how an unlikely couple (Elizabeth Alderfer, David Walton) becomes an unlikely family.
