"LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS" EXPANDS THURSDAY, APRIL 18 EPISODE TO 90 MINUTES
Expanded Show Will Include "A Closer Look," "Game of Jones" and a Conversation with Democratic Presidential Candidate Pete Buttigieg
NEW YORK - April 15, 2019 - "Late Night with Seth Meyers" is going overtime Thursday, April 18 with a special 90-minute episode to give context to the redacted version of the Mueller report becoming public earlier in the day.
In analyzing the Mueller report in "Late Night's" unique way, the show will feature Meyers' popular "A Closer Look" segment. In addition, "Saturday Night Live" cast member Leslie Jones will join Meyers for "Game of Jones" as the two watch and discuss the latest episode of "Game of Thrones" together.
"I simply will not stand for the Mueller report bumping Leslie Jones or vice versa, so we decided to make room for both," Meyers said.
Guests for the telecast include South Bend (Ind.) Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who recently announced his presidential candidacy, comedian/actress Amy Sedaris and singer Toro Y Moi. Fred Armisen will lead the 8G Band.
From Universal Television and Broadway Video, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" is executive produced by Lorne Michaels and produced by Mike Shoemaker.
