BLINDSPOT (NBC) - Julee Cerda has scored an arc on the show's final season as Ivy Sands, a yet-to-be-detailed character. (Deadline.com)
DELILAH (HBO Max, New!) - Jessica Rothe is set to star in a half-hour comedy pilot for the upcoming streaming service, in which "after a life-changing event, Delilah's (Rothe) first step toward putting her life back together is to introduce herself to a complete stranger who may or may not be her real father, and his family." Aisling Bea and Sharon Horgan are behind the project, which was originally set up at Channel 4 in the U.K. Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor and Merman's Horgan and Clelia Mountford are executive producing alongside Rothe, Bea and Kirker Butler, the latter of whom penned the updated take. EVIL (CBS) - Kurt Fuller - who plays Dr. Boggs, Kristen's (Katja Herbers) therapist and trusted colleague in pilot - has been promoted to regular for the series. (Deadline.com)
FILTHY RICH (FOX) - Steven Pasquale has been cast in the midseason drama as Reverend Paul Luke Thomas, "the beloved, popular, influential and ambitious minister at the Sunshine Network." He succeeds David Denman from the original pilot. (Deadline.com)
KIDDING (Showtime) - Eric Roberts and Mae Whitman are both bound for the show's sophomore run as Bernard Paley, "an executive at Amazon who's looking to make an acquisition and comes into contact with the Puppet Time team"; and Chloe, "an employee at a medical marijuana dispensary who likes to watch Puppet Time when she's high," respectively. MATCHMAKER MYSTERIES (HMC) - Bruce Boxleitner and Victor Webster have both been cast in the Danica McKellar-led film series, which is slated to launch on September 29. Boxleitner plays Nick Colomba, Angie Dove's (McKellar) dad, "a retired detective who is always on hand to give his daughter advice and support - both in life and in her amateur investigation." Webster then is Kyle Cooper, "a by-the-book detective who isn't thrilled that Angie is launching her own investigation." (Deadline.com)
PROJECT BLUE BOOK (History) - Keir O'Donnell will recur on the upcoming second season as Even William Blake, "a charmingly eccentric alien enthusiast with a religious dedication to his weekly U.F.O meetings. He takes a liking to Mimi Hynek and, thanks to his encyclopedic knowledge of everything extraterrestrial, quickly becomes friend, confidant, and premier informer to Project Blue Book's best behind-the-scenes agent." THREE WOMEN (Showtime, New!) - The pay channel has given a series commitment to a drama series based on Lisa Taddeo's nonfiction novel, "which tells the true story of three American women who suffered private and/or public backlash for their sexual desires." Taddeo herself will pen the adaptation, a multigenerational approach involving women in their 20s, 30s and 40s. (Deadline.com)
WHEN THE STREET LIGHTS GO ON (Quibi, New!) - Chris Hutton and Eddie O'Keefe are taking another stab at the drama project, in which "after the murder of a beautiful young girl rocks a suburban community, the victim's sister and her high school peers must struggle to find a sense of normalcy while coming of age in the midst of the murder investigation." Hulu previously commissioned a pilot in 2016 from director Brett Morgen. Rebecca Thomas will helm the new incarnation and executive produce alongside Hutton, O'Keefe, Tariq Merhab and Chad Hamilton for Paramount Television and Anonymous Content. (Deadline.com)
