MATCHMAKER MYSTERIES (HMC) - Bruce Boxleitner and Victor Webster have both been cast in the Danica McKellar-led film series, which is slated to launch on September 29. Boxleitner plays Nick Colomba, Angie Dove's (McKellar) dad, "a retired detective who is always on hand to give his daughter advice and support - both in life and in her amateur investigation." Webster then is Kyle Cooper, "a by-the-book detective who isn't thrilled that Angie is launching her own investigation." (Deadline.com)
PROJECT BLUE BOOK (History) - Keir O'Donnell will recur on the upcoming second season as Even William Blake, "a charmingly eccentric alien enthusiast with a religious dedication to his weekly U.F.O meetings. (Deadline.com)
THREE WOMEN (Showtime, New!) - The pay channel has given a series commitment to a drama series based on Lisa Taddeo's nonfiction novel, "which tells the true story of three American women who suffered private and/or public backlash for their sexual desires." Taddeo herself will pen the adaptation, a multigenerational approach involving women in their 20s, 30s and 40s. (Deadline.com)
WHEN THE STREET LIGHTS GO ON (Quibi, New!) - Chris Hutton and Eddie O'Keefe are taking another stab at the drama project, in which "after the murder of a beautiful young girl rocks a suburban community, the victim's sister and her high school peers must struggle to find a sense of normalcy while coming of age in the midst of the murder investigation." Hulu previously commissioned a pilot in 2016 from director Brett Morgen. Rebecca Thomas will helm the new incarnation and executive produce alongside Hutton, O'Keefe, Tariq Merhab and Chad Hamilton for Paramount Television and Anonymous Content. (Deadline.com)
