AMERICAN GODS (Starz) - Ashley Reyes and Herizen Guardiola are both bound for the show's third season. Reyes will play Cordelia, "who was a whip-smart but rebellious college dropout facing mounting legal bills and student debt before Mr. Wednesday arrived in her life." Guardiola then will step into the role of Oshun, "the Yoruban goddess of love, purity, fertility who uplifted and empowered the enslaved people who built America." (Deadline.com)
BRIDGE & TUNNEL (ABC, New!) - Melissa Carter has set up a potential drama at the Alphabet about "three scrappy, blue collar best friends who will do anything to realize their dreams of becoming Manhattan's top high-end realtors all while fighting for each other as the ups and downs of love, loss and rivalry alter their lives forever." Warner Bros. Television-based A Very Good Production is behind the hour with the company's Ellen DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
DELILAH (HBO Max) - Nat Faxon and Nicole Byer are the latest additions to the comedy pilot. Faxon will play Brian, "Tom's (Michael McKean) oldest, and angriest, child and the heir apparent to run the family business"; with Byer as Cassie, "the only person in town to welcome Delilah (Jessica Rothe), and treat her as a friend." FBI (CBS) - John Boyd - who plays Stuart Scola, "a silver-tongued, fast-talking, quick-witted former Wall Streeter-turned-FBI agent" - has been promoted to regular on the series. (Deadline.com)
FLIGHT ATTENDANT, THE (HBO Max) - Michiel Huisman is set as the male lead opposite Kaley Cuoco in the upcoming series as Alex, "a charming, wealthy businessman, who runs into some serious bad luck in Bangkok and ends up sticking with Cassie (Cuoco) longer than expected. " (Deadline.com)
HOMICIDE SPECIAL (ABC, New!) - Amy Holden Jones and Andrew Chapman are set to team for a potential drama at the Alphabet "set inside the Homicide Special division of the Philadelphia PD" about "two young and recently promoted female detectives and a beat cop as they take on an entrenched and corrupt system at an inner city precinct." The project, which has a put pilot commitment, is set up at 20th Century Fox Television with 3 Arts Entertainment's Oly Obst also slated to executive produce. (Deadline.com)
STRANGER, THE (Quibi) - Avan Jogia, Dane DeHaan and Maika Monroe have been tapped as leads on Veena Sud's upcoming offering, in which an unassuming young rideshare driver is thrown into her worst nightmare when a mysterious Hollywood Hills passenger enters her car. No details about their characters were given. Sud is writing, directing and executive producing for Fox 21 Television Studios. (Deadline.com)
