BORROWED TIME (CBS, New!) - Amanda Green has sold a potential drama to the Eye which "follows a cop who wakes up in the body of a stranger with no memory of who she is. The search for her identity is complicated by a chilling fact: Someone is trying to kill the person whose life she is inhabiting. She prevents the murder, only to awaken in a different body with a new mystery to solve." Brownstone Productions' Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman will also executive produce for Warner Bros. Television. (Deadline.com)
CARNIVAL ROW (Amazon) - Jay Ali has joined the cast of the show's sophomore run as "Kaine, a Faerie allied with the Black Raven criminal gang, alongside Cara Delevingne's Vignette." (Deadline.com)
CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER (CBS) - The Eye reportedly has "no current plans for the show to return." (TVLine.com)
COUNTERPART (Starz) - Creator Justin Marks has signed an overall deal with FX Productions where he'll develop new series projects on an exclusive basis. (Deadline.com)
DEVIL NEXT DOOR, THE (Netflix) - The streaming service will amend certain scenes following a strongly worded letter from Polish premier Mateusz Morawiecki "contending that the series was inaccurate. Central to his complaint were maps seen in the series that place Nazi concentration camps such as Auschwitz within the borders of modern-day Poland." Said changes will involve "adding on-screen text, likely below the maps, to spell out the fact that the death camps sat in territory occupied by the Nazis." (Variety.com)
MIRACLE WORKERS, THE (TBS) - Steve Buscemi and Wren Arthur's Olive Productions has closed a two-year, first-look deal with WarnerMedia to develop new series projects for TBS and TNT. (Deadline.com)
OLD MAN, THE (Hulu) - Austin Stowell has been cast as the younger version of Dan Chase, played by lead Jeff Bridges, in the upcoming project. (Deadline.com)
WHERE I COME FROM (ABC, New!) - Rob Sudduth is developing a new comedy at the Alphabet inspired by the memoir by celebrity chef Aarón Sánchez. The project "centers on divorced chef Zoila Sanchez, who has always told stories through her food. And that food's got some explaining to do: she uprooted her fraternal twin sons Alex and Rafael from El Paso to New York so she can fulfill her dream of opening a restaurant. As they all struggle to make sense of their odd new world, they must lean on each other like never before and use the family business to forge a new community - one meal at a time." Sanchez, UnbeliEVAble Entertainment's Eva Longoria and Ben Spector will also executive produce for 20th Century Fox Television. (Deadline.com)
WIRELESS (STEVEN SODERBERGH QUIBI PROJECT) (Quibi) - Tye Sheridan is set to star in the Steven Soderbergh-produced drama, which "follows a self-obsessed college student (Sheridan) stranded in the Colorado mountains, whose only hope for survival is the tool he has spent his whole life learning to use: his smartphone." Zach Wechter and Jack Seidman are penning the project, with the former directing. Michael Sugar, Cathy Konrad and Danny Sherman will also executive produce with Alpen Pictures' Christian Heuer, Pickpockets' Matt Pittman and Mike Glasz, Treeline Film, and Propagate producing. (Deadline.com)
WORLD'S BEST, THE (CBS) - The Mark Burnett-produced competition series reportedly "will not be back for a second season." (TVLine.com)
