Young Fly as Sly Stone; Big Boi as George Clinton; Ledisi as Patti LaBelle; Melanie Fiona as Chaka Khan; Yung Joc as Gary Shider; Christopher B. LAST VIDEO STORE, THE (NBC, New!) - Michael Diliberti has sold a single-camera comedy to the Peacock about Calvin, "who returns home to run the last video rental store of a once major franchise with his estranged best friend. Calvin reconnects with his youth and past as he and his employees attempt to navigate life through their love and knowledge of movies." CBS Television Studios-based Cloud Nine Productions is behind the project with Eric Christian Olsen, Bryan Haas and Kate Schumaecker also executive producing as well as John Will producing. NEVER TELL (CBS, New!) - Talicia Raggs is developing a small screen take on Stacey Abrams's book about "a star linguistics professor with a complicated past who joins forces with a charismatic online investigative journalist following the discovery of a cryptic message that is the only clue in a missing persons case, setting them off on a partnership working cases with the New Orleans Police Department." TEST, THE: A NEW ERA FOR AUSTRALIA'S TEAM (Amazon, New!) - The streaming service has commissioned an eight-part series which "offers a behind-the-scenes look at how one of the world's best cricket teams fell from grace and was forced to reclaim their title and integrity."
