BIG LEAP, THE (FOX) - Scott Foley, Simone Recasner and Jon Rudnitsky are the latest cast in the ballet-themed drama pilot. Foley will play Nick Smart, "the executive producer of The Big Leap. He delights in the inevitable drama of putting together strangers on a reality show. He isn't totally devoid of a conscience, but he lives to make entertaining television." Recasner then is Gabby Taylor, "a wonderful single mom who gave up her dream of being a dancer"; with Rudnitsky as Mike Devries, "a fit, blue collar former auto worker who is laid off and finds himself trying to survive in the gig economy with his other former co-workers." BRIDES, THE (ABC) - Erin Richards and Charlie McElveen are the latest to be cast in the Dracula-themed drama pilot. Richards will play Renee, "the head of a top modeling agency in New York City, known for her torrid affairs with her beautiful female models. In her former life, she was the wife of the Marquis de Sade when she invited Dracula (Goran Visnjic) into her "house of pain" and asked to be "turned" by him." And McElveen is Arthur Seward, "an ambitious young news reporter, Arthur works the graveyard shift at his paper, covering news of the bizarre. He becomes infatuated with Lily (Katherine Reis), a striving singer in New York City - unaware that she is, in fact, an immortal vampire." (Deadline.com)
DR. DEATH (Peacock) - AnnaSophia Robb and Chris Sullivan have scored roles on the limited series. Robb will play Michelle Shughart, "a bright, young Assistant District Attorney in Dallas who teams up with Robert Henderson (Alec Baldwin) and Randall Kirby (Christian later) to take down "Dr. Death."" And Sullivan will portray Jerry Summers, "Duntsch's (Jamie Dornan) life-long friend and number one fan whose blind devotion lands him under Duntsch's knife." (Deadline.com)
GOOD VIBES ONLY (HBO Max, New!) - John Stamos is set to team with writers Steve and Jim Armogida for a potential comedy billed as "a coming of age story set to the timeless music of The Beach Boys. It is a show about a blended group of misfit foster kids who form a secret band to escape the challenges of school and the drudgery of their dead-end town, and end up becoming Insta-famous. Along the way, they become more than a band, they become what they always really wanted - a true family." Said trio will pen the script and executive produce alongside Bret Slater and Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor. (Deadline.com)
GOSSIP GIRL (HBO Max) - Tavi Gevinson, Thomas Doherty, Adam Chanler-Berat and Zion Moreno have all scored roles on the reboot series. No specifics however were given. (Deadline.com)
INTO THE DARK (Hulu) - Felicia Day, Wil Wheaton, Malcolm Barrett, Rachel Bloom, Jonah Ray, Lyndie Greenwood and Gavin Stenhouse have been cast in the franchise's "Pooka Lives" installment, due on April 3. Director Alejandro Brugues and writer Ryan Copple are behind the project, which "follows a group of thirty-something friends from high school who create their own creepypasta about Pooka for laughs, but are shocked when it becomes so viral on the internet that it manifests more murderous versions of the creature." MARVEL'S LOKI (Disney+) - Richard E. Grant is bound for the Tom Hiddleston-led TV entry in a top secret role. (DiscussingFilm.net)
RIVERDALE (The CW) - Production on the series has suspended production amid concerns about a crew member being exposed to the coronavirus. "We are working closely with the appropriate authorities and health agencies in Vancouver to identify and contact all individuals who may have come into direct contact with our team member," Warner Bros. Television said in a statement. "The health and safety of our employees, casts and crews is always our top priority. We have and will continue to take precautions to protect everyone who works on our productions around the world." (Deadline.com)

VERY ENGLISH SCANDAL, A (Amazon) - Sarah Phelps has signed on to pen a potential three-episode follow up to the 2018 limited series. Said effort "will move on from the story of Jeremy Thorpe to become an anthology series, focusing on a new crisis that gripped the British establishment. The second season centers on a 1963 sex scandal involving Margaret Campbell, the Duchess of Argyll. During a messy divorce from her second husband, he seized images of Campbell performing a sex act on an unknown man and she became known as "The Dirty Duchess."" (Deadline.com)
WORK WIFE (ABC) - Angelique Cabral and Tone Bell have scored the lead roles on the single-camera comedy pilot while Christopher Gorham, Annapurna Sriram, Matt Shively and Maile Flanagan have also been cast. "Set in the world of real estate, Dani (Cabral) and Scott (Bell) have taken the leap to start their own team. Now feeling the stress of being the boss, they have to rely on the yin-yang of their dynamic more than ever to keep their professional and personal lives afloat." Gorham then plays Alex, "Dani's husband and stay-at-home dad to their two kids"; with Sriram as Rebecca, "a young agent in the real estate office who has a win at all costs mentality"; Shively as Travis, "Dani's cousin and de facto head of marketing"; and Flanagan as Joy, "the administrative assistant at Dani and Scott's real estate office."
