BLACKLIST, THE (NBC) - Laura Sohn, who recurs as FBI Agent Alina Park, will be promoted to series regular for the show's eighth season. (TVLine.com)
KNIGHTFALL/PROJECT BLUE BOOK (History) - The cable channel has pulled the plug on both scripted dramas after two seasons. (Deadline.com)
NATIONAL TREASURE (Disney+, New!) - The Jerry Bruckheimer-produced film franchise is the latest title being eyed for the small screen. "We're certainly working on one [National Treasure] for streaming and we're working on one for the big screen," Bruckheimer told the publication. "Hopefully, they'll both come together and we'll bring you another National Treasure, but they're both very active... The one for Disney+ is a much younger cast. It's the same concept but a young cast. The one for theatrical would be the same cast." Later adding, "The film version is being written right now. The television version is in process. We have a pilot script done and an outline of the future episodes." ABC Studios and Jerry Bruckheimer Television are presumably producing. (Collider.com)
WHITE COLLAR (USA) - A revival of the 2009-14 series is having "real conversations" at the cable channel. Matt Bomer shared the news during a virtual series reunion tonight. "There's nothing that I would want more than to be on a set with this group of people again," said the actor. "There are real conversations happening. There seems to be a lot of excitement about it. What form that takes and how it plays out and whether all the creatives involved can work it out and make it happen is yet to be seen. But we're all really optimistic and hopeful." (TVLine.com)
