BAD SPORT (Netflix, New!) - Raw Television has booked a new documentary series at the company which looks at "a variety of scandalous sporting incidents around the world." Tim Wardle, Alex Marengo and Adam Hawkins are the executive producers with Luke Sewell and Alex Kiehl serving as directors. (Deadline.com)
BLACK MIRROR (Netflix) - The streaming service has purchased a stake in Broke and Bones, the new production outfit from producers Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones, in a deal valued at $100 million. Their first new effort is expected to be unveiled soon however it is unlikely to be new episodes of "Black Mirror" as Endemol Shine still owns the rights to the property. (Deadline.com)
ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW, THE (Syndication) - Executive producer Ed Glavin is reportedly among those who will be let go following an in-house investigation by WarnerMedia into allegations of workplace misconduct. Said news comes as DeGeneres herself released a letter to her staff taking responsibility and insisting steps will be taken to "correct the issues" going forward. (THR.com)
GREY'S ANATOMY/STATION 19 (ABC) - Richard Flood's Cormac Hayes and Anthony Hill's Winston Ndugu have been promoted to series regulars on the former while Stefania Spampinato's Carina DeLuca will likewise return as a regular on the latter. (Deadline.com)
HOW TO SURVIVE INGLEWOOD (Peacock, New!) - Chris Spencer and Chad Sanders have sold a new dramedy to the streaming service which "follows Black teenagers trying to get through the absurd, treacherous, and embarrassing obstacles that come with adolescence. After moving from the suburbs to Inglewood, the Sanders family will find that teenage years are universally magical, confusing, scary, and hormonal, but in this new environment, the emotional swings are crazier because the stakes are higher." Morgan Freeman and Lori McCreary of Revelations Entertainment also serve as executive producers for Universal Content Productions with Matt Milkovich producing. (Deadline.com)
OH COOK! (Amazon) - The streaming service has confirmed the James May-led seven-part series, which "will provide a unique perspective on kitchen creations from someone who can't really cook." Plum Pictures and May's New Entity are co-producing the project, which is based on his upcoming book of the same name subtitled "60 Easy Recipes That Any Idiot Can Make." (Deadline.com)
SPLINTER CELL (Netflix, New!) - The streaming service has commissioned a two-season, 16-episode order from Ubisoft for an anime series adaptation of the video game, which follows "former U.S. Navy SEAL Sam Fisher after he is recruited by the NSA to work for the mysterious Third Echelon division within the agency." Derek Kolstad is spearheading the project. No other auspices were given. (Deadline.com)
SWEET TOOTH (Netflix) - Dania Ramirez has been cast in the comic book-turned-TV series as Aimee, "a pioneer in the middle of dystopic America, a lone scavenger in an abandoned city, rebuilding a sustainable habitat and giving orphaned hybrids a home." She joins Christian Convery as part deer, part boy Gus; Nonso Anozie as Tommy Jepperd, "a former professional athlete who becomes Gus' protector"; Adeel Akhtar as Dr. Singh, "a scientist seeking a cure for his wife, which Gus may be the key to"; Will Forte as Gus' father; and James Brolin, who serves as the narrator. UNTITLED DAMON WAYANS JR. PROJECT (Peacock, New!) - Damon Wayans Jr. is attached to star in a new comedy at the streaming service which "revolves around a struggling married couple who become bounty hunters." Matthew and Daniel Libman are behind the project, which has a script-to-series commitment. Shark vs. Bear's David Caspe and Two Shakes Entertainment's Kameron Tarlow will also executive produce for CBS Television Studios and Universal Television with Ian Durney producing. (Deadline.com)
YA BINT (Freeform, New!) - Dina Shihabi and Rolla Selbak has booked a potential dramedy at the cable channel which "focuses on a trio of pals who have moved from the Middle East to Los Angeles. The series will follow friends Maya, Jumana, and Lara through their navigation and experiences across cultures and expectations in the often anything-goes City of Angels." Danny Strong, Mandy Safavi and director Sanaa Hamri are executive producing for the 20th Century Fox Television-based Danny Strong Productions with Shihabi and Selback as co-executive producers. Shihabi will likewise have an on-camera role should it move forward. (Deadline.com)
