800 METERS (Netflix, New!) - Bambú Producciones has set up a three-part documentary series at the streamer which "chronicles events on August 17, 2017, when a van drove at full speed into a crowd of people in Barcelona. A few hours later, a separate attack took place in Cambrils. These terrorist attacks were perpetrated by young people who were completely integrated into Spanish society, the series asks how this could happen." Producer Ramón Campos and director Elías León are spearheading the project. (Deadline.com)
ADDAMS FAMILY, THE (New!) - Director Tim Burton is reportedly spearheading a live-action reboot of the series "set in present times and be from the perspective of Wednesday Addams and what the world would look like to her in 2020." Alfred Gough and Miles Millar are attached to pen the script and executive produce alongside Burton for MGM Television. (Deadline.com)
CLIVE KENSINGTON'S AMERICA (FOX, New!) - Chadd Gindin has sold a documentary-style comedy to the network about Clive Kensington, "a critically unacclaimed shockumentarian, who investigates where our country is headed by spending each season embedded in a different part of the American Experience. Up first is the American family, where Clive will finally answer the question we've all been asking, 'Family, are they worth it?'" Greg Garcia is also on board to executive produce the project, which has a penalty attached. FOX Entertainment and ABC Signature are co-producing. (Deadline.com)
DOPESICK (Hulu) - Rosario Dawson has signed onto the Michael Keaton-led limited series as Bridget Meyer, "a tough DEA agent who fights to curtail the use of OxyContin." (Deadline.com)
FAIR (Netflix, New!) - Carlos Montero and Agustín Martínez have landed an eight-episode drama at the streamer which "follows what happens when two teenage sisters discover that their parents are monsters." Writers Carlos Montero and Agustín Martínez and directors Jorge Dorado and Carles Torrens are behind the project. (Deadline.com)
IDOL (Netflix, New!) - Daniel López Sánchez, Federico Maniá Sibona and Yago de Torres have booked a short-form series at the streaming service which "tells the story of Quimera, Spain's greatest musical idol who dies in front of his fans during a concert. Lazaro, an unconditional fan, sees the opportunity to escape from his monotonous and precarious life and becomes overnight what he has long admired: his own idol." Roger Gual is directing. (Deadline.com)
MANIFEST (NBC) - Will Peltz is the latest bound for the new season as Levi, "a teaching assistant at the university where Ben works. His expertise in archeology brings him in contact with Olive, who's eager to explore the results of TJ's Egyptian research." (Deadline.com)
NEVER HAVE I EVER (Netflix) - Filming on the show's sophomore run is being targeted to begin on November 10. (Variety.com)
NINE PERFECT STRANGERS (Hulu) - Hal Cumpston is bound for the limited series as Zach Marconi, "the late, twin brother of Zoe Marconi (Grace Van Patten)." (Deadline.com)
OUTER BANKS (Netflix) - Elizabeth Mitchell will recur on the show's second season as Limbrey, "a long-time Charleston native; a compelling woman with a level of toxicity and menace underneath her seemingly courteous ways." (Deadline.com)
PACHINKO (Apple TV+) - The streaming service's Min Jin Lee adaptation has cast Min Ho Lee as Hansu, "an enigmatic outsider and merchant with ties to organized crime who embarks on an illicit romance with far-reaching consequences"; Jin Ha as Solomon, "an ambitious, charming young man who will be forced to reckon with his family's past"; Anna Sawai as Naomi, "a savvy career woman in the male-dominated world of high finance"; Minha Kim as Teenage Sunja, "a heroic young woman on the cusp who forges her own path in a hardened country that is not her own"; Soji Arai as Mosazu, "a dedicated father and successful businessman, concerned for his son's future"; and Kaho Minami as Etsuko, "a vibrant, independent woman who longs to be reunited with her estranged daughter." In addition, Kogonada and Justin Chon have been tapped to direct the front and back half of the eight-episode series. They'll also executive produce alongside writer Soo Hugh, Media Res' Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer and Blue Marble Pictures' Theresa Kang-Lowe. Co-executive producing are Dani Gorin, Richard Middleton, David Kim and Sebastian Lee. (Deadline.com)

SHRILL (Hulu) - Cameron Britton will recur on the upcoming season of the comedy series as Will, a potential love interest for Aidy Bryant's Annie. (Deadline.com)
SUPERMAN & LOIS (The CW) - Stacey Farber will recur on the upcoming series as Leslie Larr, "the right hand to one of the most influential people on the planet, she's gone from a young, idealistic dreamer to a hardened, world-worn dream killer. TIME THAT I GIVE YOU, THE (Netflix, New!) - Nadia de Santiago and Álvaro Cervantes are set to star in a 10-episode short-form series at the streaming service which "follows Lina as she tries to make the time she spends thinking about Nico a minute less so that she can move on with her life." The series, which was created by Nadia de Santiago, Inés Pintor and Pablo Fernández, is currently shooting in Madrid and Andalusia. (Deadline.com)
