DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (The CW) - Nic Bishop will guest star in an upcoming episode as a character "likened to Dr. Strangelove's General Buck Turgidson, who was played by George C. Scott in the Kubrick film." (TVLine.com)
FINDING FORRESTER (NBC, New!) - Writers T.J. Brady and Rasheed Newson are set to team with director Tim Story for a proposed TV take on the 2000 film, about "a black teenager (Rob Brown), a gifted writer and basketball player, lands a scholarship to a prestigious private high school and befriends a reclusive Scottish writer (Sean Connery)." The TV adaptation "examines the cost of success and the price of redemption through the unique bond between two gifted black writers: a homeless 16-year-old orphan who leverages his basketball skills to hustle his way into an ultra-competitive elite boarding school and a reclusive lesbian author whose career was ruined by a public scandal." Unanimous Media's Stephen Curry and Erick Peyton as well as The Story Company's Sharla Sumpter Bridgett are also on board to executive produce for Sony Pictures Television. (Deadline.com)
FIRE SEASON (TNT, New!) - Joy Blake has sold a potential drama to the cable channel in which "a group of strangers are forced together in a real-time escape from a deadly wildfire." The Nacelle Company's Brian Volk-Weiss, Matt Ochacher and Michael Pelmont are also on board to executive produce. (Deadline.com)
JEOPARDY! (Syndication) - Production on the series will resume next Monday, November 30 with "a series of interim guest hosts from the Jeopardy! family - starting with Ken Jennings." (@Jeopardy)

NEW MONEY (Showtime, New!) - Patrik-Ian Polk is developing a new comedy at the pay channel "centered around Black women who have solidified their careers, achieved financial independence and moved past the awkwardness and money struggles of their twenties." The project is based on a story from Jemele Hill and Kelley Carter of Lodge Freeway Media. Gabrielle Union of I'll Have Another Productions will also executive produce alongside said group for Sony Pictures Television with Holly Shakoor Fleischer serving as a co-executive producer. TOKYO VICE (HBO Max) - Premium pay-TV broadcaster Wowow has signed on to co-produce the upcoming drama, taking all rights for Japan. (Deadline.com)
TOM CLANCY'S JACK RYAN (Amazon) - Marianne Jean-Baptiste is joining the cast of the show's third season as Elizabeth Wright, the Chief of Station. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED TINA POWERS PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Michael Alaimo is spearheading a crime drama procedural at the network based on the true-life experiences of professional medium Tina Powers "in which a quirky TV news crime reporter starts listening to the voices she hears from beyond the grave in order to help Miami's finest solve crimes." Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor as well as KatCo's Tracy Katsky will also executive produce with Powers and Jenni Pulos receiving producing credits. (Deadline.com)
