ANIMAL KINGDOM (TNT) - Anthony Konechny has been cast as a younger version of Denis Leary's Billy on the series, a recurring role on the upcoming fifth season. (Deadline.com)
BOSCH (Amazon) - Jonny Rios will return for the show's upcoming final season as "Maddie's (Madison Lintz) boyfriend Antonio Valens, a dedicated pediatric nurse at a children's hospital." (Variety.com)
CHAPPELLE'S SHOW (Comedy Central) - ViacomCBS has pulled the series from Netflix following Dave Chappelle's much-ballyhooed statements about not being paid for said licensing. (Deadline.com)
DINNER AT THE CENTER OF THE EARTH (Showtime, New!) - "Homeland" alums Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa are reportedly back in business with the pay channel for a new project billed as "a sprawling drama that has some basis in real players in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, set in the Middle East and Europe, but the simplest way to describe it is a spy thriller in the vein of Homeland and The Night Manager." Said effort, set up at Sony Pictures Television, would be based on Nathan Englander's novel of the same name. Also executive producing are Glenn Geller, Bill Collage, Mick Hurbis-Cherrier, Cliff Roberts and Sameh Zoabi with Englander receiving a co-executive producer credit. (Deadline.com)
DREAM (NBC, New!) - Amber Riley is attached to star in a proposed single-camera comedy for the network in which "when her son graduates from college, former teen mom Dream Morgan (Riley) turns her life upside down to pursue her dream of becoming a singer." Lisa Muse Bryant is penning the hour with Neil Meron and Mark Nicholson also executive producing for Universal Television. Riley will also co-executive produce. (Deadline.com)
I LOVE THIS FOR YOU (Showtime) - Ayden Mayeri is the latest addition to the comedy pilot as Beth Ann McGann, "a chipper, strategic host at a successful home shopping network." (Deadline.com)
IZZY'S KOALA WORLD (Netflix) - The streaming has commissioned a second season of the series. "We're thrilled that another season of Izzy's Koala World is coming to Netflix as the show underscores The Dodo's mission to create feel-good, uplifting stories about animals and the humans who love them," said Dave Glauber of Dodo Kids. "We're pleased that Izzy has resonated with Netflix's massive global audience and that her ability to care deeply about koalas is inspiring a new generation of animal rescuers and everyday heroes." ONE DAY AT A TIME (Pop TV) - Executive producer Gloria Calderón Kellett has confirmed the cable channel has canceled the series following its abbreviated fourth season. Producer Sony Pictures Television plans to once again shop the project elsewhere. (@everythingloria)
WHY WOMEN KILL (CBSAA) - Kerry O'Malley and Cynthia Quiles are the latest bound for the new season as Mavis, "a beautiful, upscale and entitled member of the garden club with a beautiful singing voice"; and Brenda, "as beautiful and entitled as her friends and another member of Rita's exclusive garden club," respectively.
