50TH LAW, THE (Netflix, New!) - Kenya Barris and Hale Rothstein are set to team with Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and Robert Greene for a small screen take on their bestselling book, billed as "a semi-autobiographical account detailing 50 Cent's rise as both a young urban hustler and as an up-and-coming musician with lessons and anecdotes from historical figures such as Abraham Lincoln, Sun Tzu, Socrates, Napoleon, Malcolm X and James Baldwin." Said quartet will executive produce for Barris's Khalabo Ink Society, Jackson's G-Unit Films and Television and Lionsgate Television. (Deadline.com)
DEAR WHITE PEOPLE (Netflix) - Rome Flynn will recur on the show's final season as David, opposite Antoinette Robertson. No other details were given. (Deadline.com)
HOT ZONE, THE (NBC) - Ian Colletti, Dawn Olivieri and Denyce Lawton are set to recur on the anthology's second season as Agent Chris Moore, "a newbie to the bureau with a dry sense of humor"; Dani Toretti, "among the first agents on the ground at the 2001 Capitol Hill anthrax attack"; and Sheila Willis, "a pharmaceutical rep who lobbies on Capitol Hill," respectively. JON STEWART CURRENT AFFAIRS SERIES (Apple TV+) - Brinda Adhikari, Chelsea Devantez and Lorrie Baranek have all been named auspices on Jon Stewart's current affairs series, which "will explore subjects that are part of the national conversation and Stewart's own advocacy work." They'll presumably join Busboy Productions' James Dixon and EDEN Productions' Richard Plepler as executive producers. (THR.com)
RISE AND FALL OF VICTORIA'S SECRET, THE (Hulu, New!) - Director Matt Tyrnauer's documentary series - which "will chronicle the lingerie franchise's start as a small mail order brand to its ascension as a a global juggernaut embroiled in controversies including the relationship between owner Les Wexner and Jeffrey Epstein" - has found a home at the streamer. Tyrnauer and Corey Resser of Altimeter Films will also executive produce alongside Peter Berg, Matt Goldberg, Brandon Carroll of Film 45, as well as Elizabeth Rogers. (Deadline.com)
TERMINAL LIST, THE (Amazon) - Taylor Kitsch will star opposite Chris Pratt in the conspiracy thriller series as Ben Edwards, "a former SEAL and James Reece's (Pratt) best friend. Now a member of CIA Ground Branch, Edwards uses his intelligence access and operator skillset to help Reece seek his vengeance." (Deadline.com)
THIS IS HOW THEY TELL ME THE WORLD ENDS (FX, New!) - Director Tommy Schlamme and writers Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani are set to team for a new drama at the cable channel based on Nicole Perlroth's newly released nonfiction book. The project is described as "a far-reaching drama series that grapples with the full scope of what the internet has become - a complex matrix within which all of humanity is inextricably interlinked." Julie DeJoie will also executive produce with Perlroth receiving a producing credit. (THR.com)
