ALL ACCESS (Syndication) - The "Access Hollywood" spin-off, launched in September 2019, will call it quits after its current season, due to wrap in June. (Variety.com)
CENTER SEAT, THE: 55 YEARS OF STAR TREK (History, New!) - The cable channel has commissioned an eight-episode limited series from The Nacelle Company, described as "the ultimate deep dive into the world of Star Trek. Timed to coincide with the iconic sci-fi franchise's 55th anniversary this year, it will offer Trekkies a behind-the-scenes look at pivotal moments in the franchise's history - from its inception at Lucille Ball's production company Desilu through recent film and television adaptations." Brian Volk-Weiss will direct and executive produce alongside Ian Roumain, Gates McFadden, Cisco Henson and Mark A. Altman. (Deadline.com)
CRUEL SUMMER (Freeform) - The upcoming thriller drama series has tapped the following for recurring roles: Barrett Carnahan as Derek, who "has a strong, playful relationship with his kid sister, Jeanette"; Andrea Anders as Joy Wallis, "a polished, wealthy, and modern 90s Texan woman, Joy presides over the ladies who lunch with a domineering presence"; Benjamin J. Cain Jr. as Rod Wallis, "handsome, charismatic and former professional football player, Rod is Kate's stepfather"; and Nicole Bilderback as Denise, "Jeanette's straightforward attorney." ENJOY YOUR MEAL (HBO Max, New!) - Amy Aniobi has sold a new comedy to the streamer which will "draw inspiration from the multiple media scandals of summer 2020 and today, focusing on a cohort of young assistants of color who rise up to tear their cookie cutter corporate culture apart." Former Bon Appétit employee Ryan Walker-Hartshorn will serve as a consultant on the series while Galt Niederhoffer and Monica Villarreal of Authentic Management Productions and record producer Drew Dixon will executive produce alongside Aniobi. EVIL/GOOD FIGHT, THE (CBS/Paramount+) - Davita Scarlett, a co-executive producer on both series, has signed a multi-year overall deal with producer CBS Studios. The pact covers her duties on said offerings as well as any future development. (Deadline.com)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Co-star Giacomo Gianniotti has confirmed his exit as Andrew DeLuca following tonight's episode. (TVLine.com)
LACE (ALLBLK) - Maryam Basir, Skyh Black, Tanyell Waivers, Antoine Harris and Terrell Carter are slated to star in the upcoming legal drama, which "follows a prolific Los Angeles attorney who often blurs the lines between right and wrong to protect her rich and powerful clientele." Basir's Lacey McCullough is "a successful and highly connected attorney whose influence sometimes leads her down a very dark path. With the help of her trusted associates, Othello Charles (Black) and Britney Deveaux (Waivers) - and the ever-efficient twins, Aaron (Harris) and Nora Tuft (Taylor Bynoe) - she's currently involved in one of her most mysterious and perilous cases to date." Leonard Roberts, Kellita Smith, Shanti Lowry, Chris Attoh, Nate Walker, Jordan T. Johnson, Mollie Dolcimascolo, Isaac Stephen Montgomery also star. Jamal Hill is directing the six episodes, from co-creators Katrina Y. Nelson, Michelle Ebony Hardy, Adam Starks and Tracy Grant. Angela White will executive produce alongside said quartet for Silver Lining Entertainment and Kemy Time Productions. (Deadline.com)
OK BOOMER (HBO Max, New!) - Patti LuPone and Erinn Hayes are set to star in a new multi-camera comedy pilot for the streamer, which "centers on Barbara (LuPone), a self-centered boomer who shows up at her estranged daughter Sarah's (Hayes) house hoping to live off the family's money, but forms an unexpected bond with her progressive granddaughter who's quick to challenge her on their differing views - of which there are plenty." Writer Todd Linden and director Victor Gonzalez are spearheading the project, with showrunner Vanessa McCarthy and the late Jamie Tarses also executive producing for the latter's Sony Pictures Television-based FanFare Productions. McCrae Dunlap will co-executive produce. (Deadline.com)
SHAMELESS (Showtime) - Shar Jackson will recur on the show's final episodes as Constance, "a woman in her early 40s who lives in Louisville and is the cousin of Veronica (Shanola Hampton)." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED BOYS SPIN-OFF PROJECT (Amazon) - Lizze Broadway and Jaz Sinclair are set to star in the proposed "The Boys" spin-off series. They'll play two of the young superheroes in the project - Emma and Marie, respectively - details of which were not released. Said castings are in anticipation of a series order. (Variety.com)
UNTITLED CHRIS GARCIA PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Comedian Chris Garcia is set to team with Kevin Hench for a potential comedy at the network inspired by his life, about "an anti-communist Cuban father who enrolls in ESL classes at the same high school as his sensitive poetry-loving son." The pair will write and executive produce for Universal Television. (Deadline.com)
WILLOW (Disney+) - Ruby Cruz is the latest addition to the film-turned-TV series, set decades after Ron Howard's 1988 movie. She'll presumably play Kit, replacing the previously announced Cailee Spaeny. No other specifics were given. (Deadline.com)
