NEW YORK, NY April 20, 2021 -- BET will air the first season of the popular series "SURVIVOR'S REMORSE" beginning Wednesday, April 21 at 10:30 PM ET/PT on BET and BET Her. After a successful four-season run on STARZ, the half-hour scripted series produced by LeBron James, will make its first-ever basic cable debut on BET. "SURVIVOR'S REMORSE" to complement BET's original programming line-up of power-house Black creators and talent. Starring Jessie T. Usher, RonReaco Lee, Erica Ash, Teyonah Parris, Tichina Arnold, and Mike Epps, "SURVIVOR'S REMORSE" centers around the lives of Cam Calloway and his family after he signs a pro-basketball contract and moves his family to Atlanta. The deal was negotiated by Josh Vodnoy, VP Content Acquisitions of ViacomCBS, and Lionsgate's Kate Nexon, SVP of North American TV & Digital Sales.
BET's winning Wednesday line-up kicks off the night at 9 pm ET, with BET+s docuseries "American Gangster Trap Queens" followed by scripted comedy "Twenties" from Lena Waithe at 10 pm ET. "SURVIVOR'S REMORSE" will close out the night at 10:30 pm ET, highlighting a night of unforgettable characters fueled by ambition and ruled by the hustle.

"TWENTIES" ranked as the #1 new comedy series on cable for African Americans 18-49 in 2020* and premiered to critical acclaim with its first-time portrayal of a masculine-presenting Queer woman of color as the lead in a primetime show. The scripted series created and written by Waithe and Hillman Grad Productions stars Jonica T. Gibbs as Hattie, a queer black girl who is chasing her dreams of being a screenwriter in Los Angeles alongside her two best friends, Marie and Nia, played by Christina Elmore ("Insecure") and Gabrielle Graham ("Possessor") respectively. While they live separate lives, the girls lean on each other for guidance as they navigate their twenties and test the limits of diversity, love, and inclusion.
