BLUE BLOODS (CBS) - Gloria Reuben will guest on the show's two-part season finale as "strong-willed Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Special Agent Rachel Weber. She's the agent in charge of undercover operative Det. Joe Hill (Will Hochman), Frank's newly-found grandson who's been missing from the show since the December 18 episode." (TVInsider.com)
DOOM PATROL (HBO Max) - Micah Joe Parker, Wynn Everett, Miles Mussenden, Anita Kalathara and Gina Hiraizumi are all bound for the series' third season as members of the Sisterhood of Dada. Parker will play Malcolm, "a quiet, sensitive and thoughtful soul who would often rather be invisible than face this unforgiving world"; with Everett as Shelley Byron aka The Fog, "supposedly a deadly terrorist, Shelley is charming, seductive, poetic and a bit mad"; Mussenden as Lloyd Jefferson aka Frenzy, "a sculptor of strange life-like masks who is covered with tattoos and scars - the memories and injustices that immortalize his life - he is cryptic and stoic with a capacity for extreme devastation"; Kalathara as Holly McKenzie aka Sleepwalk, "a light-hearted ne'er do well, Holly knows where the best parties are"; and Hiraizumi as Sachiko aka The Quiz, "an enigmatic germaphobe whose crippling phobias mask awe-inspiring powers." FLIGHT ATTENDANT, THE (HBO Max) - Natalie Chaidez is boarding the series as co-showrunner alongside Steve Yockey for its second season. She succeeds Meredith Lavender and Marcie Ulin, who are departing for unspecified reasons. (Deadline.com)
LAST OF US, THE (HBO) - Oscar nominee Jasmila Žbanić and Ali Abbasi are slated to direct on the upcoming video game series adaptation. They'll join Kantemir Balagov, who is helming the pilot episode. (Deadline.com)
LINCOLN LAWYER, THE (Netflix) - Jamie McShane and Reggie Lee are both bound for the Manuel Garcia-Rulfo-led drama. McShane will play Lee Lankford, " cynical veteran of the police force who is working with Maggie (Neve Campbell), Lankford has a contentious relationship with Mickey." and Lee will portray Angelo Soto, "an intimidating, wealthy businessman who owns a string of successful nursing facilities. He's under investigation by the DA's office for possible illegal activity." (Deadline.com)
NCIS: HAWAII (CBS) - Larry Teng will direct and executive produce the opening episode of the recently commissioned spin-off series, which "follows the first female Special Agent in Charge of NCIS Pearl Harbor and her team as they balance duty to family and country, investigating high-stakes crimes involving military personnel, national security and the mysteries of the island itself." Christopher Silber, Jan Nash and Matt Bosack are among the featured auspices. (Deadline.com)
PERRY MASON (HBO) - Jack Amiel and Michael Begler have been tapped to run the show's second season, replacing creators Ron Fitzgerald and Rolin Jones. The move is part of three-year overall deal the duo have signed with the pay channel. (Deadline.com)
STAR TREK: DISCOVERY (Paramount+) - Filming on the series has been paused for the next two weeks after "a Zone A individual on Discovery came in close proximity earlier this week with someone who had tested positive for Covid-19." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED BALDWIN & GRAMMER PROJECT (ABC) - The Alphabet has passed on its Alec Baldwin/Kelsey Grammer-led multi-camera comedy pilot despite a straight-to-series pickup for the 2021-22 season. Producer 20th Television plans to shop the project elsewhere. (Deadline.com)
