BANKER'S WIFE, THE (Amazon) - The streamer has formally shelved the eight-episode series, originally commissioned back in July of 2019, due to "Covid-related production delays and budget challenges." (Deadline.com)
CHICAGO MED (NBC) - Co-stars Yaya DaCosta and Torrey DeVitto have confirmed their exits from the series after the current season. (@yayadacosta, @torreydevitto)

GHOSTS (CBS) - Devan Chandler Long has been promoted to regular on the Eye's import of the U.K. series. He guest starred in the pilot as Thorfinn: "Large, hulking Viking. Bit of a neat freak." LIGHTYEARS (Amazon) - The Sissy Spacek/J.K. Simmons-led drama has cast Adam Bartley as Byron, "Franklin and Irene's neighbor, a local busybody convinced the Yorks are up to something nefarious and who is determined to prove he's right"; Chai Hansen as Jude, "a charming and enigmatic young man who enters the Yorks' lives in an unexpected way, and quickly forms a close bond with Irene"; Julieta Zylberberg as Stella, "a single mother living in rural Argentina, trying to raise her teenage daughter, but also burdened by a dark family secret"; Rocío Hernández as Toni, "Stella's daughter, a shy teenager who, wanting more from life, starts to resent her protective and secretive mother"; and Kiah McKirnan as Denise, "the Yorks' granddaughter, a graduate student haunted by the loss of her father who seeks validation in both overachieving and looking after her grandparents' needs.." OUR KIND OF PEOPLE (FOX) - Yaya DaCosta is set to topline the upcoming drama as Angela Vaughn, "a fashion-forward "boho" woman, an up-and-coming hair products entrepreneur. Angela grew up in a working class household and has never gotten over the fact that her wealthy father (who she never met) turned his back on them. After the death of her beloved mother Eve, Angela inherits a waterfront Main Street property on Martha's Vineyard, and moves there with her alienated daughter Nikki. Angela intends to open a store on the island and further build her brand, and she's hoping to gain acceptance into the Vineyard's elite and long-standing Black community. UNTITLED LAKERS PROJECT (HBO) - Gillian Jacobs and Wood Harris are the latest to book roles on the series. She'll play Chris Riley, "wife of former Lakers head coach Pat Riley. Her husband Pat might be the one wearing the whistle, but Chris Riley is the one with a plan. Therapist by trade, Chris Riley uses her emotional expertise and strategic genius to shape the Lakers into champions." And he's set as Spencer Haywood: "In 1970, Spencer Haywood took the NBA to the Supreme Court, winning the right to join the league before graduating college, therefore paving the way for future greats like Lebron James and Kobe Bryant. But the groundbreaking court case also won him a label: troublemaker. Haywood's willingness to fight for his rights stymied the next 9 years of his career.
