ALL AMERICAN/ALL AMERICAN: HOMECOMING (The CW) - Executive producer Nkechi Okoro Carroll is launching her own production company, Rock My Soul Productions, as part of an eight-figure overall deal renewal with Warner Bros. Television Group. There she'll continue at the helm of the "All American" franchise as well as develop new series projects, including a proposed reboot of classic ABC drama "Life Goes On." The sequel "will revisit a grown-up Becca Thatcher, played by [Kellie] Martin, now an accomplished doctor, and her extended family as she returns to her hometown." Martin and Chad Lowe will serve as producers on the project, while creator Michael Braverman will be an executive consultant. (Deadline.com)
BREATHE (Netflix) - Austin Stowell has scored a role on the Melissa Barrera-led survival drama series. No other details were given. (Variety.com)
DARK WINDS (AMC) - Rainn Wilson has signed onto the drama series as Devoted Dan, "a pious missionary who relies on his divine faith to recruit followers to the gates of his used-car lot. He is also a degenerate and practitioner of every biblical sin he decries." (Deadline.com)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Kate Walsh has booked a return trip to the series where she'll reprise her role of Addison Forbes Montgomery in multiple episodes. (Deadline.com)
MS. PAT SHOW, THE (BET+) - The streamer has commissioned a second season of the Patricia "Ms. Pat" Williams-led comedy series. (THR.com)
OFFER, THE (Paramount+) - Joseph Russo has been cast as "Crazy" Joe Gallo in the limited series, "wide-eyed and hopped up Gallo is a member of the Colombo family who has caused problems for everyone in the underworld. Only a day out of prison, Joe sees no reason to slow down or lie low. He has every intention of burning his rivals' empires to the ground." (Deadline.com)
REPUBLIC OF SARAH, THE (The CW) - Executive producer Jeffrey Paul King took to social media with the news the series has been canceled after one season. Its de facto finale airs this Monday, September 6. (@jeffreypaulkingtv)
STAR TREK: PICARD (Paramount+) - Annie Wersching has been cast as the Borg Queen on the new season of the series. Alice Krige originated the role in "Star Trek: First Contact" with Susanna Thompson also appearing in "Star Trek: Voyager." No details about the character's return were given. (Deadline.com)
