In 2022, Prime Video will become the exclusive home to 15 Thursday Night Football games per season

SEATTLE - October 4, 2021 - Prime Video, the exclusive home of Thursday Night Football (TNF) starting in 2022, kicks off its 2021 NFL coverage this week. This year, Prime Video will offer an elite lineup of announcers and hosts, multiple audio feeds for viewers to tailor their gameday-viewing experience, and a 12-game schedule that culminates with an NFL Wild Card playoff game in January. TNF on Prime Video begins on Thursday, October 7 at 5:20 p.m. PDT, as Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams travel to the Pacific Northwest to take on Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks.

2021 is the final year of the NFL's existing TNF tri-cast model. Beginning in 2022, Prime Video will become the exclusive home to 15 Thursday Night Football games per season.

The duo of Andrea Kremer and Hannah Storm are back in the booth for the fourth consecutive season, with former scouts Bucky Brooks and Daniel Jeremiah once again teaming up with Joy Taylor to lead the Scout's Feed. Kay Adams hosts NFL Next alongside analysts Chris Long, Andrew Hawkins, and Daniel Jeremiah, while Andrew Hawkins, Aqib Talib, Joe Thomas, Kimmi Chex, and Nick Mangold will also provide expert analysis on Twitch each week. Three-time Pro Bowl safety - and current New Orleans Saints defensive back - Malcolm Jenkins will also contribute regularly throughout the season.

"This season we are adding several new faces to our best-in-class Thursday Night Football broadcast team," said Marie Donoghue, vice president of global sports video at Amazon. "Fans will have even more opportunities to engage with the game each week through multiple viewing options on Prime Video and Twitch, an extensive slate of supporting NFL programming, and immersive gameday experiences like X-Ray and Next Gen Stats."

Delivering Football Your Way

Prime Video and Twitch offer multiple exclusive announcer options each Thursday, giving fans the ability to tailor their gameday-viewing experience to their personal preferences.

Storm-Kremer on Prime Video: Andrea Kremer and Hannah Storm bring a unique voice and viewpoint to every game.

Scout's Feed on Prime Video and Twitch: Bucky Brooks, Daniel Jeremiah, and Joy Taylor dive deeper into the X's and O's, offering fans a different perspective on the action through the lens of former NFL scouts.

NFL Next Live on Twitch: Andrew Hawkins and Kimmi Chex are joined by a rotation of analysts including Aqib Talib, Nick Mangold, and current NFL star Malcolm Jenkins, offering a unique viewing experience that engages new and different audiences and provides an alternative to a traditional NFL broadcast.

To switch between announcers on Prime Video, users can simply open the device settings, select the broadcast of their choice, and enjoy the game. NFL Next Live will be available exclusively at twitch.tv/twitchsports and the Scout's Feed will be available at twitch.tv/movethesticks.

NFL Next Show

NFL Next Presented by Verizon returns to its familiar spot on Thursdays at 4 p.m. PDT, beginning October 7. Hosted by NFL Network star Kay Adams, the show features two-time Super Bowl champion Chris Long, former NFL receiver and Academy Award-winner Andrew Hawkins, and former NFL scout Daniel Jeremiah. NFL Next brings together compelling moments and stories from the prior week's games, while amplifying the social media pulse of the league and providing an in-depth look at each night's game utilizing the power of Next Gen Stats powered by AWS.

NFL on Twitch

For the second straight season, Prime Video is offering a robust lineup of shoulder programming available exclusively on Twitch, which will air throughout the week leading up to the game each Thursday. Watching the NFL on Twitch allows viewers to interact through live Chat, custom extensions with stats or polls, and more. The TNF extension on Twitch allows streamers and their communities to make live predictions, with correct answers earning points and placing top-scoring streamers on a leaderboard. Weekly programming on Twitch is as follows:

The NFL Comment Box: On Mondays at 12 p.m. PDT, future NFL Hall of Fame offensive lineman Joe Thomas joins Andrew Hawkins for an Ask Me Anything-style show that gives fans the chance to engage in an authentic and informative way. The show will address hot topics from around the league and answer audience questions about the previous or upcoming weeks.

The NFL Machine: On Wednesdays at 12 p.m. PDT, fans can join former All-Pro defensive back Aqib Talib, former All-Pro offensive lineman Nick Mangold, and NFL host Kimmi Chex for a show that dives deep into the NFL Films archive and walks fans through footage in the most live and interactive manner possible.

Watch With Co-Streamers: Once again, a number of Twitch broadcasters - from NFL insiders to super-fans - will air TNF this season, giving their fans and followers the opportunity to watch and discuss the game together as a community, in real time. The game will also be available to stream at twitch.tv/primevideo.

The NFL Comment Box and The NFL Machine will be available via the Twitch Sports channel at twitch.tv/twitchsports.

Catch Every Moment with X-Ray

X-Ray for TNF gives fans real-time access to live stats and data previously only available to coaches and announcers, allowing fans to understand the game without taking their eyes off the screen. Fans watching TNF on Fire TV can also use X-Ray to shop for officially licensed NFL merchandise from their favorite teams - all without leaving the app.

Enhanced replays, which launched last season on Prime Video, allow fans to rewatch top plays from throughout the game in real time, giving them access to deeper analysis and insights derived from in-game team and player-performance data. This season, enhanced replays are going one step further with player tracking, a new AI-driven feature that highlights and follows the ballcarrier throughout the play, showing fans how the action developed in real time. The new player tracking feature helps to further contextualize the major plays throughout the game, making it easier for fans to follow the action. X-Ray is available for fans streaming TNF on Web, Android, iOS, and Fire TV. To access X-Ray during the game, fans watching on Prime Video can simply flip their mobile device or click up on their Fire TV remote.

Other Ways to Watch

In addition to streaming on Prime Video and Twitch, games will also be available on FOX and NFL Network; NFL, FOX, and FOX Deportes' digital properties across devices; and mobile devices via club properties (for their respective games) and Yahoo Sports.
