ABBOTT ELEMENTARY (ABC) - William Stanford Davis will recur on the midseason comedy as Mr. Johnson, "the school's longtime janitor." (Deadline.com)
ANGEL CITY (The CW, New!) - Jen Braeden and Heather Thomason are looking to import the Korean drama "W: Two Worlds" at the netlet, billed as "the story of Jules, a promising young surgeon whose stable life is upended when she gets pulled into an alternate dimension where her father's graphic novel, and its alluring heroine, have come to life." Craig Plestis will also executive produce alongside Two Shakes Entertainment's Damon Wayans, Jr. and Kameron Tarlow and Green Ribbon Entertainment's Corinne Brinkerhoff and Tiffany Grant for CBS Studios and MBC America. BLACKLIST, THE (NBC) - Colby Lewis has been cast as Alina Park's husband, Peter, in the veteran drama: "A ray of sunshine and an attentive spouse, Peter is protective of his wife, Alina (Laura Sohn), and deeply anxious about the danger she encounters at her job." (Deadline.com)
DAISY JONES & THE SIX (Amazon) - Timothy Olyphant will recur on the Taylor Jenkins Reid adaptation as Rod, "a loud, brash and outspoken road manager who encourages the Dunne Brothers band to move from Pittsburgh to L.A. As they become the Six and their star rises, it falls to Rod to keep the personal conflicts of the band from breaking them apart." (THR.com)
HOT PINK (Amazon) - The streamer has passed on its Sarah Michelle Gellar-led YA pilot, which was loosely inspired by Elana K. Arnold's novel "What Girls Are Made Of." (Deadline.com)
MAN IN FULL, A (Netflix, New!) - Writer David E. Kelley and director Regina King are set to team for a six-episode series at the streamer based on Tom Wolfe's novel, in which "when Atlanta real estate mogul Charlie Croker faces sudden bankruptcy, political and business interests collide as Charlie defends his empire from those attempting to capitalize on his fall from grace." David E. Kelley Productions' Matthew Tinker and Royal Ties Productions' Reina King will also executive produce alongside the pair. (Variety.com)
MONARCH (FOX) - Reshma Shetty, Damon Dayoub and D.W. Moffett are the latest to recur on the newcomer. Shetty will play Carineh, "Nicky's (Anna Friel) best friend, and her fast-talking, always stylish, publicist." Dayoub is Jamie Burke, "a music manager with a gift for identifying and cultivating young talent, including Ana (Emma Milani)." And Moffett is Tripp DeWitt, "a childhood friend of Albie's (Trace Adkins), Tripp has become a leading Austin commercial real estate mogul, with a connection to the Romans deeper than anyone knows." PERRY MASON (HBO) - Diarra Kilpatrick's Clara Drake has been promoted to regular for the series' second season while the following actors have been tapped for roles: Katherine Waterston as Ginny Aimes, "a character emblematic of the sort of optimism that got people through Depression-era Los Angeles"; Hope Davis as Camilla Nygaard, "a badass, no-nonsense business woman who sees Della's ambition and takes her under wing"; Jon Chaffin as Morris, "Clara's brother and Paul's brother-in-law"; Fabrizio Guido as Rafael Gallardo, "who despite coming from a farming family is a talented artist with the heart of a poet"; Peter Mendoza as Mateo Gallardo, who "must come to terms with the encroaching possibility of his execution after he's accused of murder"; Onohoua Rodriguez as Luisa Gallardo, "Rafael and Mateo's aunt"; and Jee Young Han as Marion Kang, who "is fresh out of secretarial school and is the new hire in the office to replace Della's spot behind the desk." ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO (The CW) - Rekha Sharma has scored a recurring role on the new season as Shivani, "an internationally recognized futurist and tech entrepreneur with a distinct warmth and wisdom underneath her genius antics." (Deadline.com)
QUEENS (ABC) - Co-star Eve is going on a maternity leave from the freshman drama. It's understood producers are "adjusting the schedule so Eve could film additional scenes before her leave to be with her family" allowing her to appear in the majority of its original 13-episode order. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED JENNIFER HUDSON PROJECT (Syndication, New!) - Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson is being eyed to host a new syndicated talk show from Warner Bros. Television and Telepictures. Andy Lassner and Mary Connelly are executive producing the project, which recently completed a pilot. No format specifics were given, other than it is being positioned as a successor to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," currently in its final season, by the aforementioned companies. (Variety.com)
