AMERICAN TRAGEDY (Paramount+) - The streamer is proceeding with its "Waco" follow-up project, newly monikered "American Tragedies: Waco - The Trials," with Michael Shannon, Drew Dowdle and John Erick Dowdle among the executive producers. The project "will explore the wide-ranging fallout following these events and the uneven scales of justice the surviving Branch Davidians faced. It will also delve into how the horrific events fueled the emerging 'Patriot' movement, which ultimately led to the most destructive act of domestic terrorism in U.S. history - the Oklahoma City bombing." MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios are behind the project with Andrew Gettens and Lauren Mackenzie writing and executive producing alongside Shannon, the Dowdles, David C. Glasser, David Hutkin, Bob Yari and Ron Burklem. (Deadline.com)
BIG BRUNCH, THE (HBO Max) - Chef Sohla El-Waylly and restaurateur Will Guidara have been named judges on Dan Levy's upcoming cooking competition series. (Variety.com)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Consulting producer Elisabeth Finch is "going on personal leave" from the series. The news follows a report on The Ankler which "questioned Finch's medical history and some of her past claims like how she was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer, how she lost a kidney and part of her leg but was then misdiagnosed, and how she had endured verbal and sexual abuse by a male director while writing for The Vampire Diaries." (Deadline.com)
HISTORY OF A PLEASURE SEEKER (Hulu, New!) - Richard Mason has scored a pilot order from the streaming service for a one-hour musical drama based on his novel of the same name, "set in Amsterdam in 1907 - a tale of a charismatic young man's explosive adventures through all the temptations of the Belle Époque." Julie Anne Robinson will direct and executive produce for ABC Signature, Fremantle and Hat Trick Productions with Michael Gracey, Jimmy Mulville and Christopher Read also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
OZARK (Netflix) - Laura Linney will make her directorial debut with the 11th episode of the show's final season. (Deadline.com)
PINNED (NBCUniversal, New!) - Craig O'Neill is spearheading "an "adrenalized" upstairs-downstairs soap that gives a behind-the-scenes look at a fictional wrestling promotion and the "unforgettable" characters that populate it. Pinned offers a front-row seat into the eccentric wrestling culture and the mayhem that exists between the locker room and the boardroom." Vince McMahon, Tom Rinaldi, Kevin Dunn and Chris Kaiser will also executive produce the project, which is not set up at a specific network or streamer at the company. (Deadline.com)
RAMY (Hulu) - Supermodel Bella Hadid will make her acting debut on the show's upcoming third season. No specifics were given about her role. (Deadline.com)
REASONABLE DOUBT (Hulu) - The Onyx Collective series has tapped the following for recurring roles: Paul Fox as Theo James, "Brayden Mitchell's CFO, a warm and genuine individual who is dismayed at all the controversy surrounding his boss, but also a man whose loyalty would make him cross some questionable boundaries"; Perri Camper as Kaleesha Moore, "an Executive Vice President at Brayden Mitchell's company"; Nefetari Spencer as Sally, "a straight-talking, good-humored doctor"; Tiffany Yvonne Cox as Autumn, "the listener and caretaker of Jax's friends"; and Shannon Kane as Shanelle, "the quiet "judger" of Jax's group of close friends." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED TOUR DE FRANCE PROJECT (Netflix, New!) - The streamer has commissioned an eight-episode documentary series which "will hone in on all the actors of the Tour de France, from cyclists to team managers in an effort to understand the multiple stakes of a race that has become a true international symbol, broadcast in 190 territories."
