ADAM & EVA (NBC) - Ben Rappaport and Alexandra Chando have booked the title roles in the drama pilot, which is based on the Dutch series which "chronicles the epic love and lives of two complete strangers, Adam (Rappaport) and Eva (Chando), whose multiple run-ins begin to defy coincidence, leading both to believe in fate." Rappaport's Adam is "a former high school teacher and romantic trying to find his footing in Brooklyn after a devastating breakup"; while Chando's Eva is "an aspiring artist and force of nature whose relationship and views on fate are put to the test when she meets Adam." Additionally, Stephanie Laing has been tapped to direct and executive produce. (Deadline.com)
BREATHE (Netflix) - Director Maggie Kiley has renewed her overall deal with Warner Bros. Television, her home since 2019. (Deadline.com)
CHEEKY (Peacock, New!) - Aidy Bryant, Sudi Green and Ariella Elovic are set to team for a TV take on the latter's book "Cheeky: A Head-To-Toe Memoir," billed as "a refreshingly honest, sometimes obscene collection of first-person stories about all things bodily told by comedians, celebrities, bus drivers, kids, and your grandmother's crankiest friend. Each episode focuses on a theme (Boobs, Sex, Body Hair, Coming of Age) and is animated in the same colorful and painterly style as the book by Elovic." Bryant and Green will executive produce alongside Lorne Michaels and Andrew Singer of the Universal Television-based Broadway Video Television. Elovic and Alice Mathias serve as co-executive producers with Willa Slaughter producing. (Deadline.com)

CONNERS, THE (ABC) - Christopher Lloyd will reprise his "Roseanne" of as Lou, Beverly's (Estelle Parsons) new boyfriend, on the spin-off series' May 4 episode. (Deadline.com)
HIVE (Amazon) - Dominique Fishback has been tapped for the lead role on the upcoming series from Donald Glover and Janine Nabers. She'll also receive a producing credit on the project, which "revolves around a Beyoncé-like figure." (Deadline.com)
JEOPARDY! (Syndication) - Interim executive producer Michael Davies has been given permanent status on the veteran game show. (Jeopardy.com)
LOST FLOWERS OF ALICE HART, THE (Amazon) - Sebastián Zurita will recur on the Holly Ringland adaptation in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (Deadline.com)
MAN VS BEE (Netflix) - Jing Lusi will star opposite Rowan Atkinson in the comedy series as Nina, "the owner of the luxurious mansion that is being house-sat by Trevor (Atkinson), who finds himself in a battle with a bee as he avoids irreparable damage." Also cast in the series, due on June 24, are Julian Rhind-Tutt as Nina's husband Christian; Greg McHugh as the Gardener; India Fowler as Maddy; Claudie Blakley as Trevor's ex-wife; and Tom Basden as the Police Officer. METROPOLIS (Apple TV+) - Sam Esmail's eight-part adaptation of Fritz Lang's classic silent era sci-fi film will be produced in Australia where it "is expected to make extensive use of a new 'virtual production' structure that is among the largest in the world." (Variety.com)
NCIS (CBS) - Teri Polo has scored a recurring role on the series as Vivian Kolchak, "NCIS Special Agent Alden Parker's (Gary Cole) ex-wife, and a former FBI agent who left the FBI following their divorce and took a Defense Department job as a paranormal investigator." (Deadline.com)
POKER FACE (Peacock) - Stephanie Hsu is the latest to be cast opposite Natasha Lyonne and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the mystery drama series. No other details were given. (Deadline.com)
SON IN LAW, THE (ABC) - Meera Simhan is the latest addition to the single-camera comedy pilot as Khushi Mehta, "Asha's (Reema Sampat) mother, a high-strung, self-involved philanthropist who hails from extreme wealth and whose husband, Om, is the current conductor of the New York Philharmonic." TELL ME LIES (Hulu) - Gabriella Pession, Edmund Donovan and Natalee Linez will recur on the limited series, which has also tapped Jonathan Levine as director and executive producer. No other specifics about their roles were given. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED SAMMY DAVIS JR. PROJECT (Hulu, New!) - Elijah Kelley will star as Sammy Davis, Jr. in an eight-episode limited series at the streamer: "Sammy Davis, Jr. rose from childhood stardom on the vaudeville stage to become one of the most famous African American entertainers of the 1950s and '60s (and the only Black member of Frank Sinatra's Rat Pack). At the same time, he spent most of his career surrounded by controversy and ridicule–over his affairs with white film stars, his 1960 marriage to Swedish actress May Britt, his conversion to Judaism, his closeness to the Kennedys (and later Richard Nixon), and his problems with alcohol and drugs." Lee Daniels and Thomas Westfall are behind the project, with Daniels also directing the first two episodes. Additionally, Daniels and Marc Toberoff are the executive producers for 20th Television with Thomas Westfall co-executive producing and Kelley and author Wil Haygood ("In Black and White: The Life of Sammy Davis, Jr.") producing.
