CONNERS, THE (ABC) - Jane Curtin will drop by the show's holiday installment as Doris Goldufski, "mother of Dan's wife Louise (played by Katey Sagal) and Jackie's husband Neville (Nat Faxon)." (TVLine.com)
DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN (Disney+) - Michael Gandolfini has been tapped for the revival series in a yet-to-be-confirmed role. (Deadline.com)
DUNE: THE SISTERHOOD (HBO Max) - The prequel series has cast Mark Strong as Emperor Javicco Corrino, "a man from a great line of war-time Emperors, who is called upon to govern the Imperium and manage a fragile peace"; Jade Anouka as Sister Theodosia, "a talented and ambitious acolyte at the Sisterhood who harbors a dangerous secret about her past"; and Chris Mason as Keiran Atreides, "a Swordmaster to a Great House whose ambition to live up to his family name is disrupted when he forms an unexpected connection to a member of the royal family." FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER, THE/HAUNTING OF BLY MANOR, THE/HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE, THE/MIDNIGHT CLUB, THE/MIDNIGHT MASS (Netflix) - Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy of Intrepid Pictures have signed a multi-year overall deal with Amazon Studios, ending their run at Netflix. (Deadline.com)

PEOPLE PUZZLER (GSN) - Debmar-Mercury has acquired the broadcast syndication rights to the series, offering its three season run to local stations beginning in the fall of 2023. (Deadline.com)
RAISING WILD (Apple TV+, New!) - Cynthia Erivo is attached to star in a new series at the streamer about "a neuropsychologist wanted for fraud, kidnapping and murder. Throughout the series, her public fall from grace will have question marks hanging over it, whether she was the victim of a dark conspiracy or is a grave danger to the government and society." Damian Kindler and Amber Alexander are penning the project for MGM Television with Edith's Daughter's Erivo and Solome Williams; Big Picture Co.'s Renée Zellweger and Carmella Casinelli; Identity Media's Anthony Mastromauro; and Toluca Pictures' Stacey Levin and Steve Stark also among the executive producers. SHUGA: BALTIMORE (Paramount+, New!) - Greg "Mellow" Brown is developing a domestic take on the African drama which "will follow the lives of six people seeking to find beauty in their futures while surviving in the rapidly tech-gentrifying Maryland city." Damon Wayans, Jr. and Kameron Tarlow of Two Shakes Entertainment will executive produce for CBS Studios alongside MTV Staying Alive Foundation's Georgia Arnold, Sara Piot and Richard Warburton with Brown serving as a co-executive producer. TRENCHES, THE (FX, New!) - Drew Goddard has scored a pilot order for an animated series about "a modern family of monster hunters." Sarah Esberg of Goddard Textiles will also executive produce for 20th Television and Floyd County Productions. (Deadline.com)
UNDER THE BRIDGE (Hulu) - Riley Keough is set to star in and executive produce the streamer's limited series based on Rebecca Godfrey's book. Keough will play "the late author Godfrey in the adaptation of the 1997 true story of 14-year-old Reena Virk, who went to join friends at a party and never returned home. In the book, Godfrey takes readers into the hidden world of the seven teenage girls and a boy accused of the savage murder, revealing startling truths about the unlikely killer." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ATLEE PINE SERIES (Amazon, New!) - Aeysha Carr is developing a small screen take on David Baldacci's Atlee Pine book series for the streamer which "follows exceptional FBI agent Atlee Pine as she finds herself at a crossroads in her life and career and she has to go back and solve the one case that has shaped her entire existence - the disappearance of her twin sister thirty years ago." 3 Arts Entertainment's Erwin Stoff and Oly Obst will also executive produce for Lionsgate Television and Amazon Studios. WE WERE LIARS (Amazon, New!) - Julie Plec and Carina Adly MacKenzie are developing a TV series at the streamer based on E. Lockhart's YA suspense thriller which "follows the wealthy, seemingly perfect Sinclair family, who spend every summer sitting gathered on their private island. However, not every year is the same: When something happens to Cadence during the summer of her 15th year, she and the other three "Liars" - Johnny, Gat and Mirren - re-emerge two years later to prompt Cadence to remember the incident." All three will executive produce the project, which has opened a mini writers' room, alongside Emily Cummins for Plec's Universal Television-based My So-Called Company banner. (Deadline.com)
