DUNE: THE SISTERHOOD (HBO Max) - Josh Heuston and Edward Davis will both recur on the prequel series as Constantine, "the illegitimate son of the Emperor (Mark Strong) torn between seeking his father's approval and his own happiness"; and Harrow Harkonnen, "a rising politician from a once-great family, who harbors a strong desire to elevate his House to its former glory," respectively. FLASH, THE (The CW) - "Supergirl's" Nicole Maines will reprise her role on the show's final season. Eric Wallace told the publication: "Nicole is a fantastically talented actress and I'm so happy she's agreed to be part of a very special Season 9 episode where I get to cross off one of my "Arrowverse Bucket List" team-ups: Having two fantastic reporters - Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton) and Nia Nal - investigate their own very bizarre and frightening mystery." HOW TO BE A BOOKIE (HBO Max) - Maxim Swinton has joined the cast of the Sebastian Maniscalco-led comedy series as Anthony, Danny's 11-year-old stepson, "a sweet kid who has a complicated relationship to the world thanks to a biological father in a psych ward, a budding eating disorder and a deep commitment to anime cosplay." OTHER BLACK GIRL, THE (Hulu) - Garcelle Beauvais will recur on the upcoming Zakiya Dalila Harris adaptation as Diana Gordon, "a world renowned author who has been best friends with Kendra Rae Phillips, the former Black editor at Wagner. They lived in the same neighborhood and remained besties all throughout college, and Kendra Rae even edited the book that launched her into stardom. Since the book came out, the pair have grown apart." (Deadline.com)
PEEP SHOW (FX, New!) - Stefani Robinson is spearheading the new domestic take on Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain's British comedy, which "follows the relationship between a long-suffering assistant and her boss, an emotionally unstable tech entrepreneur." The project, which has a pilot order, will be executive produced by said trio, Dianne McGunigle, Hannah Mackay and Ben Farrell for Objective Fiction and FX Productions. In 2019, the network commissioned a pilot script from Karey Dornetto which didn't move forward; while FOX, Spike TV and Starz have also mounted attempts over the years. (Deadline.com)
RUN THE WORLD (Starz) - Executive producer Rachelle Williams-BenAry has signed an overall deal with the show's producer, Lionsgate Television. (Deadline.com)
