ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT (Netflix) - The streamer has landed a new licensing deal with 20th Television to continue to carry the series. It had been slated to depart the servce on March 14. (Deadline.com)
CLEAN SLATE (Freevee) - The Laverne Cox/George Wallace-led comedy series has cast D.K. Uzoukwu as Louis, "a closeted gay choir director at the local church who the older female congregants insist on trying to fix up"; Telma Hopkins as Ella, "Louis' mother, a no-nonsense jack-of-all-trades who has known Harry for much longer than either of them would like to admit"; Jay Wilkison as Mack, "ruggedly handsome and from the wrong side of the tracks who has spent some time in prison"; and Norah Murphy as Opal, "the confident and industrious tween who works alongside her father at the car wash when she's not plotting to become the next billionaire." COMPANY YOU KEEP, THE (ABC) - Tony Shalhoub will appear in two upcoming episodes of the newcomer as Frankie Musso, "who was once engaged to Charlie's mother, Fran (Polly Draper), before she met and fell in love with her husband and Charlie's father, Leo (William Fichtner). Even all those years later, Frankie still longs for Fran, and the two have a dynamic that continues to ruffle Leo's feathers." (Variety.com)

GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - The Alphabet has ordered a landmark 20th season of the medical drama. It's understood Meg Marinis will serve as showrunner for Season 20, replacing Krista Vernoff as previously reported. (Deadline.com)
ICONS UNEARTHED (Vice) - Vice TV has ordered six more seasons of the anthology documentary series from The Nacelle Company, taking it through season 10. (Deadline.com)
IN HUMAN (PBS, New!) - The network is set to team with the BBC for a new five-part series billed as "an exploration of how modern humans came into being." BBC Studios Science Unit is producing with Tom Coveney and Andrew Cohen among the auspices. (Deadline.com)
MYSTERIOUS MORTONS, THE (CBS, New!) - Amy Rardin and George Northy have sold a new drama to the Eye which "follows a homicide detective who enlists his quirky family of mystery writers to assist him in cracking the cases that perplex the authorities." Laurie Zaks of Rosewood Television will also executive produce for CBS Studios. (Deadline.com)
OPEN BOOK/WESTERN (Freevee) - The streamer has reportedly passed on both half-hour scripted pilots. Their producers plan to shop them elsewhere. (Deadline.com)
PRESUMED INNOCENT (Apple TV+) - The Jake Gyllenhaal-led limited series has cast Noma Dumezweni as Judge Lyttle, "a formidable legal mind, she's been on the bench for decades, and now she's overseeing one of the most highly publicized trials in Chicago's recent history"; Gabby Beans as Mya, "a young and gifted lawyer and recent Yale Law graduate"; and Sarunas J. Jackson as Clifton, "an alluring and magnetic artist/ bartender who distracts Barbara Sabich (Ruth Negga) during one of the most difficult times of her life - her husband's murder trial."
