BACHELOR, THE/BACHELORETTE, THE (ABC) - The departure of creator Mike Fleiss is reportedly tied to "an investigation into allegations of racial discrimination was conducted by Warner Bros. TV." Said publication indicates "during the investigation, sources say, producers complained about Fleiss' "bullying" behavior, as well as his resistance to increasing diversity on the show over two decades. Individuals who spoke during the investigation expressed that when production staffers suggested casting more diverse reality stars, Fleiss would not take their suggestions and would "lash out" against them." (Variety.com)
BOYS COME FIRST (Amazon, New!) - Chuck Hayward is spearheading a small screen take on Aaron Foley's debut novel at Amazon Studios, "the humorously heartfelt story of three gay millennial Black men looking for love, navigating friendships and pursuing professional success against the rapidly evolving backdrop of contemporary Detroit." Will Graham, Stephanie Dietz and Hailey Wierengo of Field Trip Productions will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
DANCING WITH MYSELF (NBC) - The network has canceled the dancing competition series after one season. (Deadline.com)
DUSTER (HBO Max) - Corbin Bernsen will recur on the period drama as Wade Ellis, the father of Josh Holloway's character. (Deadline.com)
LUCKIEST MAN, THE (Apple TV+, New!) - Dan Kay and Jonathan Eig are set to team for a television series at the streamer based on the latter's book about the life and death of baseball legend Lou Gehrig. Said title is "a nod to the Hall of Famer's iconic 1939 retirement speech that came two months after he was diagnosed with ALS, which is now known as 'Lou Gehrig's disease.'" Peter Farrelly is on board to direct and executive produce alongside Kay, Lorne Michaels, Eddie Michaels, Michael Uslan, David Uslan and Charles Wessler for the Universal Television-based Broadway Video Television. Eig will co-executive produce. (THR.com)
MARVEL'S M.O.D.O.K. (Hulu) - Executive producer Joe Quesada, formerly Editor-In-Chief of Marvel Comics, has signed an exclusive first-look deal with Amazon Studios. (Deadline.com)
MARY & GEORGE (AMC) - Tony Curran has been cast as King James I in the Julianne Moore/Nicholas Galitzine-led drama, an adaptation of "The King's Assassin" by Benjamin Woolley. (Deadline.com)
RESIDENCE, THE (Netflix) - Barrett Foa will recur on the Shondaland murder-mystery drama as Elliot Morgan, "the first gentleman of the White House. He knows nothing about the social culture of Washington or the expectations of his role in the White House." (Deadline.com)
STAR WARS: SKELETON CREW (Disney+) - Director David Lowery is among the latest to be confirmed as helming an episode of the upcoming series. (Variety.com)
