ALL AMERICAN (The CW) - The network has extened the show's sixth season from 13 to 15 episodes. (Deadline.com, 4/22)
BOB (HEARTS) ABISHOLA (CBS) - Warner Bros. Discovery Content Sales will launch the series nationwide in syndication beginning in the fall. (Variety.com, 4/25)
CALABASAS (Netflix, New!) - Via Bleidner's book "If You Lived Here You'd Be Famous By Now" is being developed for TV by the streaming service: "In the vein of The O.C. and Beverly Hills 90210, Calabasas follows Via, a 16-year-old sheltered Midwestern Catholic school girl whose world is turned upside down when her family moves and she's forced to transfer to the fast world of Calabasas High where nothing is as it appears and where everyone is trying to be someone else. It's a place where dreams come true ... but not without complications and sometimes unforeseen consequences." I. Marlene King is behind the project with Bleidner, Kim Kardashian, Emma Roberts, Alexandra Milchan, Lauren Wagner, Karah Preiss and Matt Matruski also executive producing for Long Lake Media, Belletrist Productions and Crescentline. CHONGA GIRLS, THE (CBS, New!) - Mimi Davila and Laura Di Lorenzo are set to write, star and co-executive produce a potential multi-camera comedy series which "follows two dangerously confident childhood friends, Mimi and Laura, who move from Miami to Hollywood to realize their dream of becoming famous. But, much to their surprise, they find themselves working at the makeup counter for a department store right off the Walk of Fame." Marlena Rodriguez is spearheading the project alongside said duo and will executive produce for CBS Studios and WV Entertainment. Wilmer Valderrama, Kaitlin Saltzman and Al Madrigal will likewise executive produce. (Deadline.com, 4/24)
DINKS (Amazon, New!) - Real-life married couple June Diane Raphael and Paul Scheer have scored a pilot order for an improvisational style multi-camera comedy about "Josh (Scheer) and Charlie (Raphael), a couple who, in absence of a marriage or kids, decide to literally build a life together by renovating their nightmare of a dream house." The project is an updated version of their CBS project "A Lot," which filmed a pilot presentation last year. Marta Kauffman and Hannah K.S. Canter return as writers with Alex Fernie likewise back as director. Kauffman, Canter, Raphael and Scheer executive produce alongside Robbie Rowe Tollin for Okay Goodnight, Amazon MGM Studios and Lionsgate Television. Jesse Schiller serves as a producer and Molly Arkin as a co-producer. (Deadline.com, 4/22)
DOCTOR WHO (Disney+) - Paul Forman will guest star this season as "a mysterious Regency-era character named Lord Barton, who has a surface-level charm but carries sinister secrets underneath his smooth words." (EW.com, 4/23)
DYING FOR SEX (FX) - Oscar winner Sissy Spacek will recur on the Michelle Williams-led limited series as Gail, "Molly's mother who has a complicated history with her daughter." (Deadline.com, 4/23)
FAMILY GUY (FOX) - The animated sitcom, which celebrated its 25th anniversary this season, will stream two holiday specials later this year on Hulu. (Deadline.com, 4/20)
FBI: INTERNATIONAL (CBS) - Original cast member Luke Kleintank will exit the series following its May 7 episode. Additionally, Colin Donnell will guest on the final two episodes this season in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (Deadline.com, 4/24)
GROSSE POINTE GARDEN SOCIETY (NBC) - Aja Naomi King has signed onto the drama pilot as Catherine, "an unhappily married mother of two younger children, a realtor and active member of the Garden Society who works off some of her loneliness with a very juicy secret." (Deadline.com, 4/23)
GURU NATION (Paramount+) - David Cross and Bob Odenkirk have confirmed the streamer has passed on their eight-episode limited series because of the "marketing and analytics department not getting it, not wanting it." (Variety.com, 4/26)
HUNTING WIVES, THE (Starz) - The streamer's May Cobb adaptation has cast Karen Rodriguez as Sheriff's Deputy Wanda Salazar; Michael Aaron Milligan as Kyle; and Hunter Emery as Deputy Walter Flynn. No other details were given. (Deadline.com, 4/23)
LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME (NBC) - Peacock is finalizing a deal for a 10-episode fifth season of the series which stream exclusively on the platform. (Deadline.com, 4/25)
NCIS: HAWAI'I (CBS) - The Eye has opted to cancel the series after three seasons with its May 6 episode serving as its de facto finale. (Deadline.com, 4/26)
NEUROMANCER (Apple TV+) - Callum Turner has scored the lead role on the streamer's William Gibson adaptation as "a damaged, top-rung super-hacker named Case (Turner) who is thrust into a web of digital espionage and high stakes crime with his partner Molly, a razor-girl assassin with mirrored eyes, aiming to pull a heist on a corporate dynasty with untold secrets." (Deadline.com, 4/23)
ONE PIECE (Netflix) - Joe Tracz has been named co-showrunner on the upcoming second season alongside Matt Owens. Previous co-showrunner Steve Maeda remains an executive producer. (Deadline.com, 4/23)
PULSE (Netflix) - The medical drama has added Néstor Carbonell as Ruben Soriano, "a respected and sometimes feared senior surgeon"; Santiago Segura as Gabriel Moreno, "an ER nurse who is a highly competent team player - but not always easy to impress"; Ash Santos as Nia Washington, "a confident and scrappy Miami-Dade County EMT from a large, close-knit family"; Jessica Rothe as Cass Himmelstein, "a charismatic and charming senior ER nurse who knows what she wants for her life, and has a plan to get it"; and Arturo Del Puerto as Luis Dominguez, "the ER's Charge Nurse." RUN THE BURBS (The CW) - Co-creator Andrew Phung took the social media with the news original broadcaster CBC has canceled the series after three seasons. In the U.S., The CW aired season one and part of season two before the remaining installments were offered on Hulu. It's not clear if The CW or Hulu will carry the yet-to-air third season. TEMPTING FORTUNE (Roku) - Original broadcaster Channel 4 has renewed the series for a second season however U.S. co-production partner Roku is no longer involved. (Deadline.com, 4/23)
TRACKER (CBS) - Jensen Ackles has been cast as Colter's (Justin Hartley) estranged brother Russell on the series. (@justinhartley, 4/25)
UNTITLED ORPHAN PROJECT (Hulu) - Dulé Hill and Sarayu Blue will both recur on the Ellen Pompeo-led limited series. Hill plays Brandon Drysdale, "the detective investigating the criminal allegations made against the Barnetts. As he searches for justice amid the twists and turns of Natalia's case, he becomes more and more emotionally involved in her story." And Blue portrays Valika, "the parent of one of the kids at Kristine's (Pompeo) daycare center. Elegant and sophisticated, Val is grateful for Kristine's work with her neurodivergent daughter, and over the course of the series she becomes one of her close friends and confidants." UNTITLED RACHEL SENNOTT PROJECT (HBO) - Lorene Scafaria has been tapped to direct and executive produce the comedy pilot starring, written and executive produced by Rachel Sennott. (Deadline.com, 4/22)
WEDNESDAY (Netflix) - Thandiwe Newton is the latest to sign onto the show's second season in a yet-to-be-revealed capacity. (Variety.com, 4/23)
XO, KITTY (Netflix) - Audrey Huynh, Sasha Bhasin and Joshua Lee are all bound for the show's second season as Stella, Praveena and Jin, respectively. Huynh's role is a regular while the others are recurring. (Variety.com, 4/25)
