ALL AMERICAN (The CW) - Daniel Ezra's Spencer James will not return as a regular for the show's recently ordered seventh season. "After making the difficult decision to leave All American, my sole focus became completing the journey of the most life-affirming character I've ever played in the manner he deserves. Thanks to Nkechi and the writers, I got my wish. Season six is 'Spencer's goodbye.' I'll miss him. I'll miss our cast and crew. I hope it's been as fun to watch him as it has been to play him," the actor told the publication. (Deadline.com, 6/24)
ALL AMERICAN: HOMECOMING (The CW) - Cameron Elie is slated to appear in at least four episodes of the show's de facto final season. No character details were released. (Deadline.com, 6/24)

And Reuben is set as Michelle Sanders, "a respected lawyer who has made a career of standing up when she's told to sit down. Michelle Sanders faces a new kind of challenge when she crosses paths with the sisters." (Variety.com, 6/26; Deadline.com, 6/27)

Each episode will end with the Safety Spotlight, a brief informative safety-tip that follows up on each day's story delivered by the series' own law enforcement safety contributor." O'Dell, Hank Cohen and Scott Sternberg are the executive producers for Trifecta Entertainment, Scott Sternberg Productions and Tornante Television. (Deadline.com, 6/27)

Writer Andy Breckman and director Randy Zisk are back behind the project, having been behind a take for CBS in 2019. Lauren Gussis and Corinne Brinkerhoff subsequently signed on for a gender-swapped version in 2020; while Michael Reisz and Carol Mendelsohn spearheaded a version for NBC in 2018. CBS Studios, Intrigue Entertainment and Red Arrow Studios International are producing. Tariq Jalil, who has been involved in all four attempts, will executive produce alongside Breckman and Zisk. (Deadline.com, 6/25)
EL GATO (Amazon) - Angela Sarafyan will recur on the Diego Boneta-led series as Elisa Kazanjian, "a stoic CIA agent who, 10 years ago, was involved in a terrible massacre while serving in the military in Afghanistan. The traumatic event left her cold and emotionless, but no less capable. Presently she's serving in Mexico City with the "Company" on a mission to unravel the criminal past of a billionaire agricultural titan Gabriel Guerrero." (Deadline.com, 6/28)
FRASIER (REBOOT SERIES) (Paramount+) - Harriet Sansom Harris and Rachel Bloom will both drop by the revival series. Harris will reprise her role as Frasier Crane's agent, Bebe Glazer, from the original series with Bloom as her daughter, Phoebe Glazer. (Variety.com, 6/27)
GRIMM REALITY, THE (Netflix, New!) - The streamer has shuttered an eight-episode German series from Wiedemann & Berg and Dog Haus Films based on the Brothers Grimm folklore tales of the 18th and 19th centuries. Filming had been completed on the project with Hyuan Wanner, Patrick Isermeyer, Eidin Jalali and Dennis Schuermann starring. No specific reason was given. Till Kleinert and Erol Yesilkaya created the series while Sven Bohse and Florian Dietrich were the directors. (Deadline.com, 6/25)

Except now, for reasons they're still not discussing, they don't. They broke up five months ago, and they still haven't told their best friends. They find themselves sharing a bedroom at the Maine cottage that has been their friend group's yearly getaway for the past decade, and continue to lie through their teeth to their friends about their relationship status." Jennifer Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina will executive produce for their Nuyorican Productions banner. (Deadline.com, 6/25)
HIJACK (Apple TV+) - Clare-Hope Ashitey, Karima McAdams and Christian Näthe have been cast in season two of the Idris Elba-led drama. No character details however were given. (Variety.com, 6/24)

(Deadline.com, 6/27)
NEUROMANCER (Apple TV+) - Briana Middleton will star opposite Callum Turner in the streamer's William Gibson adaptation. The series will follow a damaged, top-rung super-hacker named Case (Turner) who is thrust into a web of digital espionage and high stakes crime with his partner Molly (Middleton), a razor-girl assassin with mirrored eyes, aiming to pull a heist on a corporate dynasty with untold secrets. (Deadline.com, 6/28)

OBSESSION (Amazon) - The Dove Cameron/Avan Jogia-led drama has cast the follow actors to recur: Patch Darragh as Dan Troxler, "a trustworthy psychotherapist who is closely guarding the secrets of his pet client while attempting to assuage his guilt"; Kira Guloien as Jane Miller, "an enigmatic woman whose attempts at charm thinly veil an ambitious professional agenda"; Celeste Oliva as Camille (Cami) Russo, "a Detective Sergeant of the Boston Police Department and Lee and Karl's boss"; Jesse James Keitel as Alison Meadows, "who is stunning, sophisticated, and underestimated in her ability to see through lies and find ways to expose them"; and Matt Murray as Kevin Sullivan, "the property manager of a swanky Boston apartment building." (Deadline.com, 6/28)
PROOF (FOX, New!) - Cory Goodman and Jeremy Lott are spearheading a TV series at the network based on the Image Comics property: "The book, which was created by Alex Grecian and Riley Rossmo, pairs two unlikely heroes together - disgruntled FBI Agent-in-Training Ginger Rodriguez and John "Proof" Prufrock, a jazz-loving Bigfoot - to protect the world from Cryptids: obscure creatures whose existence has yet to be proven. While these two start out as a surprising duo, they strike up an unlikely friendship, partnership, and even potential romance as they help save the world side by side." Terence Carter, David Boorstein and Adam Goldworm will also executive produce for FOX Entertainment Studios, Westbrook Studios and Aperture Entertainment. Grecian will receive a producing credit. (Deadline.com, 6/24)
RUNNING POINT (Netflix) - Scott Evans will recur on the basketball-themed comedy series as Charlie, "Sandy Gordon's (Drew Tarver) boyfriend whom he has been keeping secret from the rest of the family." (Deadline.com, 6/24)
SEE HER AGAIN (Netflix, New!) - The streamer has acquired the international rights to the Chinese drama series: "It follows a Hong Kong police detective from the 1990s who unexpectedly travels to 2018 and partners with a female police officer to uncover a series of mysterious murder cases from the past." She came to the park to find a new life with her 4-year-old son, Gael. Despite being a little green when it comes to a landscape like Yosemite, her strong will, astute investigative skills, and big-city homicide techniques become useful tools in a murder that is distinctly human." And Bethel will portray Shane Maguire: "A former army ranger, Maguire now uses his skills as the park's Wildlife Management Officer. Maguire's a loner, preferring to live by himself in the wilderness where it's easier to follow his own rules." (Deadline.com, 6/24)

Rob Doherty, Carl Beverly and Sarah Timberman will also executive produce for Lionsgate Television and Timberman-Beverly Productions. (Deadline.com, 6/26)
