"Rossi: A Fugitive Faking Death" to Stream on Peacock Beginning Tuesday, July 16

Gripping 4-Part True Crime Docuseries Details the Bizarre Tale of Fugitive Arthur Knight aka Nicholas Rossi

SYNOPSIS: In 2021, a man wakes from a Covid-induced coma in a Glasgow hospital. He is greeted, not by loved ones, but by the police. This moment is the climax of an international manhunt involving the FBI, Interpol and Police Scotland. The patient suspect has been identified as Nicholas Rossi - a man who supposedly died two years earlier in the states.

Once a child welfare advocate, political lobbyist and a self-proclaimed Harvard University scholar, Rossi is a convicted sex offender, an alleged conman and the prime-suspect in at least three alleged rapes.

Law enforcement on both sides of the Atlantic are convinced that Rossi - also known as Nicholas Alahverdian and at least 14 other aliases - faked his death and seek to extradite him back to the U.S.

But, the suspect insists he is the victim of a "monstrous case of mistaken identity". He claims to be Arthur Knight, an Irish born "bookish Del-Boy" - a story his wife, Miranda Knight backs up, insisting they are an ordinary couple.

Is Arthur Knight the latest fake identity of one of the world's most elusive criminals - or a terrible case of mistaken identity? Featuring exclusive interviews, including audio recordings of Arthur from his prison cell, this gripping documentary investigates the story of one of America's most cunning conmen.

TUNE-IN: All four episodes of Rossi: A Fugitive Faking Death will be available to stream on Peacock starting Tuesday, July 16.

CREDITS: Rossi: A Fugitive Faking Death is a Five Mile Films production for Channel 4. The series was directed and produced by Owen Phillips and edited by Colette Hodges. Elizabeth Ainge served as line producer and Nick Mirsky as Executive Producer. BBC Studios is handling international distribution for the series.
