1923 (Paramount+) - Janet Montgomery will recur on the show's sophomore run as Hillary, "a thoughtful woman who does not want to see injustice go unpunished." (Deadline.com, 7/26)
ACCUSED (FOX) - Patrick J. Adams and Jerrika Hinton will both appear in the installment "Marcus' Story," in which "a tech entrepreneur creates software that when used takes a dark turn." It also features Nick Cannon. (TVLine.com, 7/24)
AGENCY, THE (Showtime) - Katherine Waterston is the latest to board the espionage political thriller as Naomi, "the Operations Officer and ex-handler of Martian, played by Michael Fassbender." (Deadline.com, 7/25)
ALL HER FAULT (Peacock) - The Sarah Snook-led drama has cast Jake Lacy as Peter; Sophia Lillis as Carrie; and Michael Peña as Detective McConville. No other character details were given. Production on the series is set to begin shortly. (Deadline.com, 7/24)
AMERICAN RUST (Amazon) - The streamer has passed on a third season for the Jeff Daniels/Maura Tierney-led drama series, which migrated to the service for its second season. (Deadline.com, 7/26)
BOYS, THE (Amazon) - As expected, Jensen Ackles's Soldier Boy will return as a series regular for the show's final season after appearing in the season four finale. (Deadline.com, 7/26)
CHAIR COMPANY, THE (HBO) - Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin's comedy pilot has cast Lake Bell as Barb Trosper; Sophia Lillis as Natalie Trosper; Will Price as Seth Trosper; and Joseph Tudisco as Mike Santini; with Lou Diamond Phillips guest starring as Jeff Levjman. CLONE HIGH (REBOOT SERIES) (Max) - The revival animated series has been canceled after two seasons. "Although Max will not proceed with a third season of Clone High, we will always cherish our creative partnership with Chris Miller, Phil Lord, Bill Lawrence, Erica Rivinoja, Erik Durbin, Judah Miller, Corey Campodonico, Alex Bulkley, and the team at MTV Entertainment Studios," Max said in a statement to the publication. "The incredibly talented voice actors, writers, cast and crew provided the opportunity to thaw out these legendary characters." (TVLine.com, 7/26)
COUNTDOWN (Amazon) - The Jensen Ackles-led drama series has cast Violett Beane as Evan Shepherd, "a tech-savvy recent graduate of the FBI Academy who's eager to learn how to operate inside the task force"; Uli Latukefu as Lucas Finau, "a veteran of the LAPD's Gangs and Narcotics division"; and Elliot Knight as Keyonte Bell, "a third-generation FBI agent who is well-versed in terrorist threats." DOCTOR WHO (Disney+) - Jonah Hauer-King will drop by the new season "playing a character that will be part of Ruby Sunday's story." FOURTH WING (Amazon) - Moira Walley-Beckett has been tapped as showrunner of the streamer's Rebecca Yarros adaptation. Elizabeth Raposo and Liz Pelletier will also executive produce with Stefano Agosto as a co-executive producer. (Variety.com, 7/22)
HANDMAID'S TALE, THE (Hulu) - Emmy nominee Josh Charles has signed onto the show's final season in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (Deadline.com, 7/23)
LAW & ORDER (NBC) - Maura Tierney has joined the cast of the show's 24th season as the new lieutenant, succeeding Camryn Manheim's character. (TVLine.com, 7/22)
LAW & ORDER: SVU (NBC) - Juliana Aidén Martinez has joined the cast of the show's 26th season while Kevin Kane's Terry Bruno has been upped to regular. They'll join returning cast members Mariska Hargitay, Ice T, Peter Scanavino and Octacio Pisano. (Deadline.com, 7/23)
LIFE & BETH (Hulu) - The Amy Schumer-led comedy series will not return for a third season. (Deadline.com, 7/26)
MINOR THREATS (Netflix, New!) - Patton Oswalt and Jordan Blum's comic book series is being developed for TV by the streamer: "The acerbic Minor Threats centers on low-level supervillains who usually find themselves bound in front of a police station with a note saying, "Courtesy of your friendly neighborhood Batman." The initial story arc subverted superhero convention, kicking off with the psychotic Stickman murdering the young hero Kid Dusk, sidekick to Twilight City's premier crime-fighter, the Insomniac. With that vigilante hero's teammates turning the city into a police state in a desperate attempt to capture Stickman, small-time D-list villains find their lives turned upside down. Thus, with a bounty on Stickman's head, a former villain assembles a ragtag team to find Stickman and kill him themselves." Said duo will pen the script and executive produce alongside the book's artist Scott Hepburn and Dark Horse Entertainment's Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg. (THR.com, 7/23)
MORNING SHOW, THE (Apple TV+) - William Jackson Harper, Rachel Marsh and John Hoogenakker will all recur on the new season. The former will play Ben, "the network's self-assured and innovative Head of Sports"; with Marsh as Alex's assistant, Remy, and John Hoogenakker as an FBI agent named Andy. SOUTHERN BOOK CLUB'S GUIDE TO SLAYING VAMPIRES, THE (HBO) - Danny McBride and Edi Patterson are set to team with Grady Hendrix for a comedy series at the pay channel based on the latter's novel, which "follows a women's book club that must protect its suburban community from a mysterious and handsome stranger that may be a vampire killing their children." The project was previously set up at Amazon with PKM Productions' Patrick Moran and Quirk Books' Brett Cohen among the executive producers. The new incarnation will be executive produced by Hendrix, McBride, Patterson and Brandon James for Rough House Pictures. (Deadline.com, 7/24)

TERROR, THE (AMC) - The show's Dan Stevens-led third season has cast Judith Light, CCH Pounder, Aasif Mandvi, John Benjamin Hickey, Stephen Root, Michael Aronov, Marin Ireland, Chinaza Uche, Hampton Fluker, b, Hayward Leach and Philip Ettinger in yet-to-be-revealed roles. TOYS THAT MADE US, THE (Netflix) - The Nacelle Company has begun production on seasons four and five of the documentary series, which originally ran on Netflix from 2017-2019.
