STUDIOCANAL has closed a US deal with Hulu on PARIS HAS FALLEN. The high-octane series is a CANAL+ CREATION ORIGINALE produced by STUDIOCANAL in partnership with CANAL+, URBAN MYTH FILMS, MILLENIUM and G-BASE. The series will stream exclusively on Hulu in the US later this year.

The 8×52' series, adapted from theHAS FALLEN movie franchise (Olympus Has Fallen, London Has Fallen, Angel Has Fallen), is written by Howard Overman (War of The Worlds, Misfits) and is produced by Julian Murphy and Johnny Capps for URBAN MYTH FILMS, a STUDIOCANAL company. Oded Ruskin (No Man's Land, Drops of God) is lead director on the series alongside Hans Herbots (The Serpent).

The deal was closed by Anne Cherel andChloe Marquet for STUDIOCANAL.

PARIS HAS FALLEN shot on location in Paris and London featuring an international cast led by Tewfik Jallab (Spiral, Dark Hearts) starring as protection officer Vincent Taleb andRitu Arya (The Umbrella Academy) as MI6 Operative Zara Taylor. Rounding out the talented cast roster is Sean Harris (Mission Impossible: Fallout), Ana Ularu (Emerald City), Camille Rutherford (Blue Is The Warmest Colour), Jérémie Covillault (Tell No One), Emmanuelle Bercot (My King), andKarl Collins (Attack The Block).

When a terrorist group led by the villainous Jacob Pearce attacks a high-profile event, with the French Minister of Defence as their target, protection officer Vincent Taleb finds himself working with street-smart MI6 operative Zara Taylor to save the day. But when events take a dark turn, Vincent and Zara soon realize that the plan extends beyond just one politician. When they suspect that one of their colleagues in the security services is feeding information to Jacob, Vincent and Zara find themselves needing to rely only on each other. Increasingly isolated and with Jacob always one step ahead, can this unlikely pair stop Paris from falling to a man hell-bent on vengeance?
