HALLMARK CHANNEL CONTINUES 2004 RATINGS STREAK
SCORING ANOTHER TOP TEN RANKING
Network Sees Substantial Growth in Prime Time, Total Day and Key Demos
Based on Strength of Popular Originals and Acquisitions
2004 continues to be a banner year for Hallmark Channel, with the network
maintaining its top ten ranking in Total Day HH ratings for the third straight quarter (#10
among the 54 ad-supported cable networks, NMR, 6/28-9/26/04). In key demos, the
network displayed particularly strong growth, with a 50% increase in W 25-54 in Prime
Time and a 42% increase W 25-54 in Total Day over 3Q�03 (NMR, 6/28-9/26/04 vs. 6/30-
9/28/03).
For the quarter, Hallmark Channel tied all-time highs for Prime Time with a 0.9 HH
rating representing a 29% increase over 3Q�03, and Total Day with a 0.6 HH rating
representing a 20% increase over 3Q�03. Additionally, Hallmark Channel delivered its
highest rated day in network history on September 26, 2004, scoring a 1.0 HH rating
based on the strength of acquisitions including �Pollyanna� and �The Parent Trap (1998).�
Hallmark Channel Original Movies continue to achieve strong ratings and viewer
length of tune-in, highlights include:
� �Wedding Daze� (September 6) premiered with a 1.2 HH rating, reaching more than
1.9 million unduplicated viewers. The movie ranks #2 among all 3Q�04 ad-supported
cable original movie premieres for A25-54 Length of Tune (30.8 minutes).
� �Murder Without Conviction� (September 5) premiered with a 1.2 HH rating and is
ranked #1 among all 3Q�04 ad-supported cable original movie premieres for Persons
2+ Length of Tune (33.3 minutes), reinforcing Hallmark Channel�s popularity among
families and multiple viewers.
� �The Trail to Hope Rose� (July 3) premiered with a 1.3 HH rating, reaching more than
2.1 million unduplicated viewers. The movie ranks #1 among all 3Q�04 ad-supported
cable original movie premieres for A25-54 Length of Tune (33.4 minutes).
